So far this pedal is working great for me. I can see that when transporting and/or storing the pedal care must be used to avoid 'kinking' the cable and housing. Sharp bends in the cable should be avoided. The cable attachment points can be adjusted for lenth and angle to reduce friction and optimize performance.

This pedal is well made and easy to install. You won't be disappointed. Note a drum key is not included. You'll need to buy a small one.

This pedal worked alright for the short time that it did at all. After about 6 months of light playing (probably a total of 40 hours), the assembly that the cable connects to on the pedal came apart completely. Left me high and dry right before a gig. Can't recommend this to anyone who wants to use it for anything more than a play thing for their sister's 5 year old kid on the odd holiday. Surprised by the poor construction. I've used some Gibraltar stuff in the past with much better results. Complaining to the company, but doubt they will do anything to make this right.

I love using the foot pedal on the conjaon box for a couple of years, it helps with foot technique, and I get so many people that are curious about it and ask me about it and really like it. I have been playing with it awhile now. It's holding up great and for the price you can't beat it.

Works well for my one man band

Used it for about a year and a half pretty regularly, had to develop my own way to connect it to the cajon, but then the cable frayed badly.After repeated attempts to contact Gibraltar (email, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) on a good safe way to replace the cable, and with no response anywhere at all, I attempted removing the frayed cable only to have some cheap metal piece break and likely render the pedal useless.
