It's all I need
I've had more expensive printer - copiers but this one has work just as well and the only thing I've noticed about it that deserves mentioning is that it startup take much longer that my others. Once it's ready to print it prints fast and neat, meets all my needs. It does a decent job on the cards I make sometimes the color match isn't exactly right, and it does seem to use more ink.

Good versatile all-in-one printer, ink cartridges are not widely available.
I selected this model after my 12-year-old Canon MX-432 printer would not print anymore and I needed to finish a project. So I found one that Amazon could get to me the next day, which they did. While there is no printed one in the box, I downloaded a 445 page manual from the Canon website which is extremely detailed. Set up was straight forward and uneventful, partially because I have used Canon printers for over 20 years. Connection to my wi-fi network was easy as I had the ID and password handy.I hoped that the document print quality was better than my old printer and it certainly was. I used the rear tray to print checks and envelopes after spending a little time trying to figure that out. The printer would not automatically select the rear tray even though I had paper loaded there. I had to go in to the application and select it instead. The cartridges print about the same number of pages that my old printer did.I was really impressed with the quality of the document and photo scans I made. The pdf and jpg files are still large, but so were the ones on the MX-432. I have not printed any photos yet.The unit does take a little time to initialize after you power it up and if left unused for a time, it goes to sleep and eventually powers off completely. The PG-260/PG-261 ink cartridges are relatively expensive, but so are most Canon ink products. Potential buyers of this printer should know that as of this writing, the cartridges are not widely available and I could only find one remanufactured replacement for the PG-260/PG-261. There are some major sites that do not stock these cartridges, like Staples. This printer model is still considered "new", so hopefully that will change. Amazon currently has the lowest prices for these cartridges.

Almost love it
I just got this set up and have only printed a few things on typing paper.ProsExcellent prints. Text is crisp and the photos are very good.Setup. It was fast and easy. I was nervous about this because of some of the reviews but luckily it was went without a hitch.CHEAP. :)ConsInk. My bad in that I didn’t research as much as I should have. I’ve had other Canon printers that used inexpensive aftermarket ink that doesn’t seem to be available for this printer, or if so it’s more expensive than Canon ink. Offset by the printer - CHEAPDurability. It feels very flimsy. I will treat it gently and keep my fingers crossed. Will update this review if anything changes. So far I’m very happy with this printer.

Great Printer - Good Packaging - Highly Recommended Overall
This printer arrived in great packaging and was working perfectly - the Getting Started Guide that was included was very helpful in the initial setup. However, keep in mind that printer ink for this model is rather expensive (about $45-$60) per refill once every 50 pages or so depending on how colorful the pages you're printing are.

Great Printer
Prints fast, good color on photos and love the dual paper trays. Quality on the auto feed scanner wasn't as good as my separate scanner, so don't use it as much. The starter ink didn't last as long as I hoped, so hoping the XL cartridges that I purchased will. I'd buy this printer again for sure.

Find something else
Where to begin? What I ordered was a model TR7020. What arrived is a TR7021. Does this make a difference? I'll never know, because Canon's website indicates that there is no such thing as a TR7021, and therefore I found no instructions to aid in set-up.. I'm guessing that will cause problems if I ever need to make a warranty claim. Next was set-up and Wifi connection. Considering that I have a BA in English Literature, and was licensed to teach English in middle-school, I'm going out on a limb and claiming that when I can't understand an instruction manual printed (supposedly) in English; the problem isn't me. The problem is the manual. But it's (supposedly) possible to set this up by following prompts on the printer's (annoyingly small) screen. I had to fight five rounds with this machine, and lose the first four, before I could finally make Wifi work. I lost track of time, but the set-up probably took a bit over an hour. Once everything was working I printed out a photo from a computer file. The colors were fairly accurate, but seriously faded. I would grade it Fair to Poor in that category. Copies direct from an original photo were less faded, but still unimpressive. I'd rate those Fair. Text seems good. Overall, I'd call the output acceptable, but definitely mediocre. So my advice is to pick something else. On the other hand, at $103US, I didn't pay much, so I guess I shouldn't expect much. Unless more problems appear, I'll keep it, if only to avoid all the hassle of repacking and returning it. Bottom line:fair quality and infuriating set-up for pretty low price. Update: After a month or two of barely using it, nothing has changed except that I've noticed one additional small annoyance. When you don't use it for a few hours, it turns itself off. Since I keep it in a different room, I have to get up and restart it each time I try to print after a long pause. While I understand that turning it off probably saves me a bit of electricity, I prefer to make those decisions for myself. Bottom line; it doesn't qualify as awful, but it has enough downsides for me to view it as mediocre, and it definitely erodes my confidence in the Canon brand. Last time I bought their cameras and lenses (at least a decade ago) I got superb products at reasonable prices, and I was hoping/expecting to repeat that experience. That did not happen.
