When british company tweaks Canadian maple syrup into their own version
This is no different to honey, cheap honey is made with 20% real honey and the rest is usually conjured up with EU and Chinese backwater watered down honey to reduce cost, the same goes for this "maple... syrup" except you can't name this as a MAPLE! Since it only contains refined sugar, it is actually just golden syrup messed around by a British company to make it cheap.It is completely legal as well to do this because it is maple syrup (flavour) which is nonsense because you can't replicate maple syrup without a tree to collect sap from lol.
