Great reads!
I started with the 5th book but now just finished the first in the series… I’m drawn in to the characters and how they have evolved.?2 down and plenty to go. Consider buying the series. Well developed characters and a fun read.

Not a quick read - but a nice book to read for an hour before bed and keeps my interest going
This is not a one nite read. Might take me 7-14 days to read one book. Very rich and detailed character development with a lot of side line things going on involving family and other characters which sometimes ( rarely ) is somewhat tedious and unrelated to main plot. Perfect wintertime read if you like who did it detective stories

Very good series
Bought these books for my husband. Now that we don’t own a a TV he has plenty to read! And is enjoying them!

Wonderful find
Very particular and critical about books I select. The first in this set I couldn't put down. So happy I have 4 to go. I will have to space them out.

Very engaging
This series is really a page-turner but not in the detective line. I love watching how the relationship between main characters evolve, it is incredibly engaging.I was confused about the state of the books though. This is supposed to be a set and all of them have soft-touch cover and spine except for the 4th one.

Great character development in this series, about a flawed detective and his partner.

Brought me back to reading fiction. Can't put each book down.
The first time I'm able to finish a work of fiction in years. And I can't stop. Already on book 3.
