Vey nice
I was introduced to these by my physical therapist. I liked them so much that I decided to buy a couple for myself. They hold a lot of heat and are very well made. Very sturdy. My only issue is that this larger one must fit into a very wide/deep pot to heat up (it expands as it fills with water). I did not buy the cover. Instead I wrap it in a hand towel to use. This brand is the best that I have come across. I now have two, a small and a large one.

This works very well. It will stay warm up to 10 minutes. If you are using it at home it can be rather tedious. After boiling it in a pot, pulling it out and wrapping it in towels, and repeating as needed, it can be a hassle if your in a great deal of pain. Very nice quality though.

Great Product at a Great Price.
We've used these types of moist heat packs for years. They can be rehydrated and heated in your soup pot. They hold the heat for a LONG time - wrap in a beach towel to keep yourself from burning. And they last for years. We've used them for muscle pain, colds, flu, headaches - anyplace targeted moist heat is required.

Works Well!
Where have you been all these years! I just recently though about getting a moist heating pad like at the chiropractor office. I keep it immersed in water when I'm not suing it in a large crock pot. It works fabulous for getting rid of aches and pains. Just be careful that you have enough cushion between you and the heating pad so you won't burn your skin. I do have to use numerous towels and sometimes will even have to flip the towels if it gets too hot and wet.

Moist heating pad
Put really hot water in solid bin, soak for a couple minutes. Wrap in small towel and apply. Awesome.

it does seem to be of good quality.
We received the product as promised. For our purposes, we've found this is more cumbersome to heat and use than it is worth. That being said, it does seem to be of good quality.

As good as ever.
I have used this kind of hot pack in my office for over 25 years. I ordered new ones because after about 12 years of daily use they are starting to come apart at the seams. I was disappointed when I took the new ones out of the package because they looked substantially thinner and lighter than the old ones. However, after about a week of use they have become fully hydrated and are as plump and substantial as the old ones. When I noticed that the old ones were wearing out I tried using an electric heating pad instead. But the heating pad just did not have the same "heft" and moist heat properties of the hydrocollator packs. The hydrocollator packs do a much better job of warming muscles than a commercial electric pad. .
