Very bright, easy to install, easy to mod
Very bright, easy to install, very low profile. Perfect for where ceiling height is an issue.Very easy to mod, if you're so inclined. As sold, the light was far too bright and I was concerned about cooling of the LEDs due to the plastic shell of the light. Undo the small screws around the edge on the back, and the light easily comes apart. The LED driver has two identical current sense resistors in parallel, marked RS1 and RS2. Clipping one of these off the board reduced the current draw by half, made the brightness more suitable for a small box room (although, perhaps still a little on the bright side), and removed almost all the heat from the LEDs. I expect it'll last for decades, until a capacitor eventually fails.

Bright lights
Great lights. But be aware the daylight 5000 version are BRIGHT! Got two for my kitchen and I think you can see them from space.If I could order again I'd go for the 4000. Very good for the price.

Perfect!
Exactly what was needed.Bought ikea pax tall wardrobe and needed a light that would clear the space between the wardrobe and ceiling. Bought the 7”inch black and fits perfect! A smallish box room and you get a lot of light from such a small fitting. Great price, easy to install (so I’m told!) excellent!

wow its extra bright and so easy to fit, took all of 10 mins to fit in bathroom, didn't realise how dingy my bathroom was, it isnt now so ordering some more. now have 6 of these.

An excellent product spoiled by an inappropriate electrical connector
Looks great, really bright. It is rather difficult to install and potentially unsafe, as it is shipped with a connector block with spring connections, there is so little clearance behind the light that these foul when locating the light, resulting in either/or the live or neutral connections coming out of the terminal block.It's easy to get around the problem, just use your own screw terminal block and make sure it's nice and small due to limited clearance
