To be a sustainer of bonds is innovative if it works. Its other skills sold me on this as a permanent tool in my arsenal. It works great as a depositor of color and conditioner into the hair follicle. I can see some color in the blonde even when it seems nothing would otherwise remain, so I believe it is visibly reinforcing bonds inside the follicle.It plays well with others. Mix with stain dyes and/or conditioners. Box Color and Salon Color can be extended with this.I use it as an off-label hair styling product. Apply, comb, and dry. Hair will be stiff and moldable and coarsely oh-so-thick. Comb and style with or without heat. No gel, mousse, wax, or hairspray can compete with that simplicity. The next time I take a quick rinse, I come out with more pigmented, silkier hair.

I got this do a rainbow look and this is perfect for that because of the bright neon yellow color. This dye is vibrant and took well. Im impressed and wanna get more color.

Very vibrant color

My daughter wanted to dye her hair for Halloween and we tried a lot of temporary dyes, but they didn't work or hold color well. She has dirty blond hair leaning more brown. I found this semi permanent dye and it worked great. Not only was it very vibrant, but it still held up a week later. Now that it's been about a month it has started to fade, but it still noticeably there. I was amazed how red it was even with her darker hair. I highly recommend this dye if you are looking for a longer term dye job.

This works excellently on lighter colored hair. Seems to last quite a while. I have used two of the pink or pinkish red colorings. As well as one of the purple shades. They've all worked very well. Plus they're all noticeable even on my very dark hair.The blonde I requested cuz it was the only option at the time. I used it on a friend of mine's hair. Normally a very very light brown, or a fairly dark blonde. This showed up really well on her hair.Seems like overall it's a very good brand. I intend to pick up several more very soon.

When I first used the neon yellow bond sustainer, it had separated a little bit, shaking the bottle was enough to fix it. It definitely smells like sunscreen, so some may find it unpleasant-- but its not overbearing or anything and was fine to sit on my hair.I used it to keep my green hair from turning blue and it worked well enough to keep it that way

Did not work and made my hair hard

The bottle is small, I used half of itcoloring my bangs, putting a few streaks in and doing two clip in extension pieces. And that was with using a darker yellow color for some dimension.I left the dye in for just under an hour, used foils and wrapped my head in a plastic bag. My hair is bleached to a very pale blonde.The bottle does say it will get more intense with subsequent uses, but compared with other direct dyes I’ve used like Splat, it isn’t super intense.The color is fairly bright, but some of the spots near my ears where it obviously got dried out did not come out as vibrant.Right now this is on sale for 8.99 and the bottle is small. But I normally use Wella Colorcharm Paint brand, and that’s $10 for 2 oz, so this is a good value.I’ve seen other reviews saying it’s so small, but again, other big name brands charge more for only half the amount.Overall I’m happy with the color payoff, next time I re-apply I just need to make sure none of it dries as it’s developing.
