KIMO Cordless Impact Wrench 1/2 Inch, Impact Wrench Kit w/Premium Brake Stop, 7 Sockets, 1/2 Impact Gun, Brushless High Torque Impact Driver with 350 ft-lbs (475N.m) & 3000 RPM and Battery & Charger

I was kinda iffy on this when I bought it, but after using it for a while it's been a pretty handy tool. The breakaway and fastening torque aren't that impressive when compared to some of the big dogs (Milwaukee, Makita, etc), but for most things it'll be enough. I found that anything tightened over about 105 ft-lbs can't be loosened by this thing, anything under that though have at it. The battery life is pretty good and it's really surprisingly durable. The first job I did with this was tearing down a rear differential, of course the cover wasn't on very well and so when I undid the last cover bolt the gear oil spilled all over this poor thing, but it still worked after that. I also dropped it and cracked the battery, after that it got soaked in coolant, and then I threw it one day across the driveway and finally shattered the battery. I thought for sure after throwing it like that it'd be done, I hooked up my backup battery and it worked just fine. Kimo really does make a good impact for the price, if they could get one with a little more torque I think they'd be onto something.

The media could not be loaded. I have been wanting a battery powered impact wrench for a while but at over $200 I couldn't justify one. This KIMO impact wrench's price made it worth a try. Everything about the tool is top notch. The finish is excellent - in fact the sockets that came with it have the best finish compared to all my other similar tools. I have only used this wrench a few times so don't know how it will hold up long term but based on the obvious care they took making it I expect it will last me a long time. I videoed comparing my 110v impact to this wrench and it compared well - even slightly more powerful without the hassle of the cord not to mention being much lighter. I am a hobbyist who has restored a number of older cars including rebuilding engines. The convenience of grabbing this wrench and getting right to work stripping down an engine will be a dream - no air compressor running in the background and wrestling with air hoses any more! I'll update this review if I find any concerns but so far I am very pleased.

I purchased this to have available for my truck and my wifes car for tire changes or working on brakes. The first time I used it the battery charge only lasted for one short burst. I email the customer service but have not received a response. Beware. Update - 2/28/2023 - Good News - Vendor contacted me and will be sending a new battery that are now on back order. Will update when battery received and tested. 3/17/23 - Replacement battery has still not arrived. I contacted vendor and in their poor english did not give me a ETA just the canned statement 'not availble now but will be soon' Will update if it ever arrives. UPDATE - 3/26/23 - Kimo sent a enhanced new battery. Arrived 3/26/23 two days earlier than promised. Works great.

use as a off roading tool , I check every so often to make sure battery is charged . I take whole kit with me so just incase it needs charging on a far away trail ,I have the capability to charge . This thing holds charge and works pretty well . For the price it excellent , You still may have to crack loose lugs but it performs flawlessly . Very happy and highly recommend

I've been needing an Impact wrench since forever. Using one of these would make it so easy to get my mower blades off my mowers. I finally bit the bullet & bought the Kimo.My first impression was just how nice this thing feels in my hands. Ergonomically it's perfect! The light is a nice touch & comes on every time it's in use.I bought a nice socket off Amazon for this thing & my first task was to take my mower blades off my mowers.. On one of my battery powered mowers, with one pull of the trigger, the blade came right off. I was impressed! With my commercial mowers it took about 3 presses but they too came off very easily.I am super impressed with this wrench. I will probably only be using it for removing blades, but for my purpose, the Kimo is perfect. I use a torque wrench to tighten my blades to the proper torque spec, but definitely use the Kimo to get the blade started when tightening. All in all, the Kimo is awesome for my needs & it didn't break the bank. It saves me time when working om my mower equipment. Win win!

Overall I would say I am satisfied with the tool. It’s inexpensive and fairly powerful. I attempted to take off my wheel bolts on a factory torqued wheel (new car) and it was able to remove it. The battery charges quickly.I had an issue requiring support. That is, after torquing several bolts to test the ability of the wrench, it just shut down. Had to remove the battery and reinstall and it worked fine again.In the package, the manufacturer provides several ways to contact them. Someone picked up quickly and listened to my concern promising to get back to me. That was 5 days ago and nothing since then.

When I received the wrench, it was missing the small pin that goes through the sockets to keep them on the wrench. I called the support line, and they couldn't have been more courteous and helpful. Within a few days I had a new wrench in hand with the pin. I am not overly fond of the pin having to go through the socket to keep it on, and feel it will be awfully easy to lose. I would much rather have the socket snap into place on the wrench, but the service that I received from the company was absolutely fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone, and am absolutely sure that I am going to enjoy using the wrench. I will be using it mostly to remove my tractor lawn mower blades. It is very lightweight compared to the electric wrench that I used previously, and seems to be extremely powerful. I look forward to using it.Thank you for the wonderful service.I can't rate the battery life as I haven't put it to the test yet. But am almost certain that it will be fine.
