NOT just for Omron-fits Fixcare BP Monitor perfectly!
This is a jt. review for;APROCA HARD STORAGE CASE FOR OMRON PLATINUM BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR BP5450 BP5350 andFIXCARE BLOOD PRESSURE MACHINE, AUTOMATIC DIGITAL UPPER ARM BLOOD PRESSURE,LED,LARGE FONT SCREEN 4.5 IN.Like many others, I’m not impressed with the little cloth sack that comes with theFIXCARE BLOOD PRESSURE MACHINE, AUTOMATIC DIGITAL UPPER ARM BLOOD PRESSURE,LED,LARGE FONT SCREEN 4.5 IN. …. and wanted a good case to keep it in..I was looking at the APROCA HARD STORAGE CASE FOR OMRON PLATINUM BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR BP5450 BP5350 .Unfortunately, most of the descriptions state the external dimensions of the cases. That’s well and good for how much space it will take up (8.4"l x 5.5"w x 5.1"th), but doesn’t tell us whether there is room enough inside.i messaged the company through my acct’s Amazon Message Center to find out what the internal dimensions of this case are. They responded that same day:“We measured the internal dimensions of the case:7.8"l x 4.8"w x 3.2"h (lower cover size),7.8"l x 4.8"w x 1.6"h (upper cover size). I hope it will be helpful to you. “The Fixcare’s BP Monitor is said to be: 3.9"l x 6.27"w x 4.51"th. but I think that’s the size of the box it comes in. The upper pocket I knew would hold the cuff & USB-C cable so that wasn’t a problem.I decided to go for it. Although this case was made to fit a couple models of Omron BP Monitors it appears that this Fixcare BP Monitor will fit perfectly……. and it does.I spent many hours researching the BP monitors available for the features and quality I wanted.I was narrowing it down to a few and ended up ordering the FIXCARE Blood Pressure Machine.,which was just released in Jan. of this yr. (2024). They do recommend you take 3 readings about oone minute apart-- so that's what I've done. The features:— Clinically accurate w/high sensitivity sensor for consistent and accurate readings;— A large, clear & a multi-color display making it easy for these old eyes to read snddifferentiate between the various measurements.— It measures & displays: BP, pulse, WHO’s hypertension score, Irregularities in heart beatand checks for Arrhythmia.— It has a motion sensor so if you move while it’s taking a reading, which can invalidate themeasurement, it tells you, so you can retake it.— It will store readings for 2 people—I’m only one but nice to have a spare.— It can be powered by it’s USB-C port or 4 AA batteries—both the cable & batteries comewith the monitor.— It also has an extra large adjustable cuff to fit many size arms. Not important to me, I’m petite and even if over-weight, would be hard pressed to get arms too big for the average cuff.— It has a battery strength indicator as well.I’ve had it for a few days now and all the readings are consistently falling within a similar range, making me think it’s probably accurate. I had one reading that was an ”outlier” but between readings I breathed out and felt the tension leave my body. The next reading was considerably lower and the one after that was back in the ‘range’ all my others had been. I haven’t had the opportunity to verify it’s accuracy at the doctor’s office but feel fairly confident I’m getting accurate readings.I did do one test. I take a beta blocker, which lowers the diastolic rate and slows my pulse.I took the first 3 group reading before taking my medication. It had been over 24 hrs. since I’d last taken one. (Shame on me!) All measured high and I was into the first dangerous Hypertensive score. After 3 similar measurements, I took my med & waited an hour before taking another set of 3 measurements. The results were as expected—a lot lower! My BP & pulse were within the normal range and there was no indication of hypertension.I haven’t used the USB port —I’m powering with the 4 AA batteries. As I recall, batteries lasted a verylooooong time in my old one. I’ve been using a reading light that is powered by a USB-C port on my laptop and find I don’t like it nearly as well. Among other things, I have to keep my computer on, in sleep mode, for it to work. If my computer has been shut down, I learned the hard way, it won’t power anything via the USB-C port. The computer must be powered on. I generally don’t keep my computer in “sleep mode”. When I’m done with it, I’m done. I don’t know for a fact, but I feel it’s safer to shut down— even if offline. My old BP one —very, very old—was also just push one button to start but it only measured BP & pulse .The added features and faster (shorter) measuring time are very nice.Overall, I really like this BP monitor and recommend it to all who need or want to monitor their BP.It covers all the bases. Although a little more expensive than many on the market, in my opinion, it’s higher quality and technologically up to date, having just been released 2 months ago. Now, moving on to the case. This Fixcare BP Monitor fits perfectly in theAPROCA HARD STORAGE CASE FOR OMRON PLATINUM BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR BP5450 BP5350 , case as noted above. Actually, based on the picture of the Omron Monitor sitting at an angle in the case, it may have been made for it, but this monitor fits better. I have the monitor sitting flat within the storage bag, in the bottom compartment along with a small notebook; the cuff and USB-C cable are inthe mesh pocket in the lid. Why a notebook, you ask, when the monitor has memory? Well, maybebecause I’m a creature of habit? Yes, but more importantly for making notes. Had I taken my med yet or not? Was it 12 hrs since I last ate? Did i exercise today? Had I been up all night working on my computer? Anything that could effect the measurement result is noted before i take the first reading. This case appears to be well made. This is a hard case so it provides protection from physical damage due to a fall or something heavy placed on top of it. It’s water resistant, has double zipper pulls which pull easily/smoothly, a convenient handle for carrying and plenty of room. Say you wanted to use a little longer (and thicker) USB-C cable—no problem - it will fit in either the top or bottom.Between the two items, I spent many hours, over a few days, researching, reading & studying reviews. I’m detail oriented so I pay attention and read all information provided by the manufacturer or seller. If I have a question, I ask. You know, the only stupid question is the one not asked. By verifying the monitorwould fit, I eliminated the possibility of it not fitting and having to go through the return process and starting all over looking for a different one.I find it infuriating ( word choice there, possibly a little strong) when I read a review where someone has given an item 1 or 2 stars because they didn’t read the information provided. Whatever they’re criticizing, all too often, they would have known if they had only read the information. It’s not fair to the manufacturer or seller to lower their overall rating over sheer laziness. “It wasn’t as big as I thought it would be” or “Was bigger than I thought it would be” or “It didn’t have this or that.” Come on! Just read & think about the supplied information. Dimensions are dimensions—how big is that? Then, if you still have a question, use your Message Center to ask it of the provider. We all have one; it’s located under the “Account & Lists” tab upper right of your amazon screen. Hover over the “Lists” portion; you’ll get a window with the numerous features of your account shown and a brief explanation is provided. Just look for the section “Your Messages”. it allows you to contact the seller directly to ask your question. Some items may have a hundred - or thousands- of 5 star reviews over several years, but a few people didn’t pay attention to what they were ordering and gave it 1 star. Several of them and a 5 start product becomes 4.5 or 4.1 or less. That’s not to say nothing should never have a 1 or 2 star review. Crap is crap and some items deserve low ratings. Nor are all reviews legitimate but if you read carefully and look at dates you can figure out which might be staged, bought or phony reviews. Amazon does try to plainly note those reviews which are from Vine members and filtering for verified purchase reviews only you’ll eliminate some. I promise you, this is not one!I recommend both this BP Monitor and the case. Only time will tell as to their durability. I haven’t had long enough testify about that but, honestly, I don’t anticipate any problems. I'm careful about removing the plastic air tubing plug from the monitor so as not to damage it or pull it apart . Both appear to be well made and they work together.Anyone looking for a good case for this BP Monitor feel free to take advantage of my diligence.

Works with Omeron Series 10
Fit my omron series 10 well and does not cramp the cuff or tube. Holds everything in fairly secure. I'm not crazy about the lid pocket position as id prefer it to be across the length of the lid but not a deal breaker.

Good quality - more difficult to close if cuff is “formed”
This case is good, but is a tight fit for my Omron 10 Series model BP7450 blood pressure monitor. The main issue is that part of the cuff is “formed” to make it easy for one person to put on. That means it doesn’t fold as small as a normal one that is completely soft. So it doesn’t fit as well onto this holder. I got it in there, but it’s a tight fit. Note that the unit itself fits into the compartment well. The cuff just makes it more difficult zip it shut. Otherwise, the quality seems just fine.

Great Case for Omron Platinum Blood Pressure Monitor
I was looking for an easy to use storage case that would allow me to take measurements fairly quickly with all the parts I need. This Aproca Hard Storage Case is the perfect size to hold the Monitor and both the AC Adapter and the cuff with tube.So far since getting this, it makes needing to take measurements easier since everything is inside. The handle feels well made and so far, the zipper seems to be high quality made.Very happy getting this hard case and it also helps keeping wires and tubes away from a certain cat we have that "loves" to chew these things. If you have a Omron Platinum Blood Pressure Monitor and you want to keep everything handy, this is the case to get. Perfect size and works great!
