Great little TV. Works very well in camper van.

OK the picture quality is excellent viewed perpendicular to the screen; sadly it deteriorates very rapidly when viewed obliquely. The signal sensitivity is very good; the tiny ariel supplied works quite well and a proper ariel works very well.The sound quality including the stereo effect is quite good on the speakers but the volume is low; on the earphones the sound is very good.The remote is a bit unreliable - distance and direction are critical. It is somewhat flimsily made from soft plastic. The battery cover is impossible to open without forcing it with a screw driver or something and so damaging it. This is because, as with so many products these days, the cover snaps shut with the elastic plastic trigger method; easy to snap shut, impossible to open. Such covers should always use a small screw - so much easier to open. This same practice causes untold difficulty and damage globally when servicing or repairing equipment; the repair is straightforward enough probably but the difficulty is getting the cover off. I think the practice stems from ease of assembly coupled with the notion that a visible screw is obscene (although sometimes a little easily removed blanking plug is used).

A thank you gift, It was found to be very welcome, clear picture, excellent colours, really good sound, very portable with full instructions on how to tune it in.

I only had the tv for a week I watched it twice and it stopped working no picture sent it away for repair three weeks ago I'm still waiting for my tv so it's put me off from ordering anything else again

It's a neat little unit and it's size makes it an unusual proposition. Picture quality isn't brilliant but it definitely watchable, although it does not handle off-axis viewing so well. The big issue is the sound. I wanted to watch some TV whilst cooking dinner and the sound is easily drowned out by cooking. I mean if I put the kettle on, or boil a pan you can't make out what is being said. Even turning the microwave on gives it a run for it's money. So it doesn't work for me, but the unit isn't completely useless and might be ideal to keep in a caravan or a truck cabin to watch TV on when stopped or the desk of a night watchman - somewhere where it is quiet or, actually, where you could plug it in to speakers via an AUX socket.It does have some nice features, like you can play music and movies saved to USB sticks and the sensitivity is actually pretty good with even the supplied micro-antenna picking up plenty of watchable stations.The onboard battery is a nice touch, but I found the run time a little short (real world, an hour or so). It might be ideal to watch some TV before turning in for the night, but it isn't going to keep you going through an 10-hour security shift unless you can plug it in.

Bought this TV for my Husband whilst he had a stay in hospital awaiting a THB Surgery earlier this year..He loves it!We can also use it for our Camping holidays. I did buy an extra Aerial, but the one included in the pack works amazingly well. Including a remote control. The TV is easy to use and self setup. As soon as I switched it on to set it up, the TV wanted to do it all for me.. Just follow the on-screen prompts and it's ready to use. Well worth the money.

Great little tv well priced but sadly 2 personal issues so will be returning. (1) no signal in the hospital for patient I bought it for...too many pieces of electrical equipment and just a bad signal area (2) elderly patient found remote too complex.Great item though
