Being transparent, I've never used this before. It says good for shrimp and also helps condition their aquarium water. So giving it a shot. So far so good. Its easy to add to tank. You get a nice portion for a good price!

Good concept, but my shrimp are a mat too big to get inside. I gave 4 stars because of this.My suggestion, make the holes a little bigger. (Just a little) and maybe wider holes on the bottom so I don’t have to cut the bottom off, when I need to get one out that’s stuck.My guppy fry actually love this thing more than anything else. Gives them an additions hide out, to survive hungry parents, and they’re always hungry, and there’s always baby fish (fry)Thanks.

Clear directions for acclimating and packaged well. All shrimp arrived alive and I have had them for about a week. All are healthy, no diseases or parasites. The shrimp look healthy with a variety of color and size. They fit in great with my other shrimp. I definitely recommend this seller.

Good substitute for cuttlebone in aquariums with crustaceans.

The media could not be loaded. It’s kind of just a rock. It fizzed a bit when I put it in, I didn’t read the directions to rinse it first. Oh well, my tank seems fine. Now I just hide it in the corner in front of the heater.

I have a shrimp tank and the block has lasted 2 months so far so they are very durable and and good value. They are about the size of a gravel rock and are white.

After soaking and rinsing, I only placed one of these rocks in my tank and 2 of my shrimp were dead by morning!
