SproutStacker 2 Level Automatic Sprouter Machine by Bright Kitchen Automated Heated Seed Growing Sprouting Machine (2 Level Sprouter)

This is the absolute best design because it is easy to clean and has larger water storage which reduces water changes to one a day at most. I was brand new to sprouting when I bought this machine so it is made for beginners.This has lasted for 2 full years with almost continuous use. I set it up in morning and forget about it, which sets it apart from other models.I would start with single layer until you have a few successful batches because there is a small learning curve in general with timings. For instance I learned I needed to start my bean sprouts in the morning because if I started it at night my sprouts would be over done by morning. Simple tweaks like this will make you successful.If you match the machine parts with the video, then remove the top layer to make it simpler.Pictures are with 2 year old machine to show how easy it is to clean.

So far so good, but does anyone know what the black plastic bag that came with it is for? It just to happens to be able to fit over the top of the machine. Am I supposed to cover it while it's operating?

I felt a little sad after reading the reviews because, I too was a little frustrated with the instructions. But I found a set up video online with Google, and it was so easy after that.I bought a second one.I don't usually bother to rate things but, I really like this machine, and I felt bad for the people who missed out.The sprouts grow faster in the machine than they do with regular methods. And with so much going on, you do have to clean he water once a day.The hose does fit but you have to take the top piece off to put it in, its a tight fit.I have Jars, and the stackables, but this one is so much less work and I like turquoise.

It is probably my inexperience, but also due to lack of complete sprouting instructions. Directions are translated from Chinese and are rather incomplete. I've sprouted radish, broccoli and sunflower seeds so far, but they tend to grow sideways as much as upright and it would be nice to have more detailed instructions and in English syntax. I also have some issues with keeping the water from clouding if growing both tiers. changing the water once a day isn't enough if you're growing 2 tiers. the instructions don't include anything about how to put the tiers together, so that the sprinkler fits correctly, or how often to change water, or anything specific at all.

Purchased in January 2021.No directions.No assembly instructions.Exploded view provided but their are parts missing from it.Two trays not shown.One ring not shown.Different lengths of water pipe not explained.Black garbage bag not explained.Small plastic piece for pipe not explained.Hose for drainage does not fit. machine has to be disassembled for draining. Daily!!!Does not explain water needs to be changed daily.Does not explain how much seeds to use.Does not explain a 24 hour soak and carful cool rinsing of seeds before pe going into the trays helps keep it clean.Does not explain how to clean.Needs more and better directions.EditSecond time used feb 17 harvest.So much algae in the unit even with daily water changes.After each harvest unit has to be cleaned very carefully.It says to hot use water above 65 degrees for cleaning. Why?I use Luke warm water. No soap. A 1/2 cup peroxide to gallon of water. Soak for a while and then carefully and lightly clean each surface with a soft bristle toothbrush.Took me two hours tonight to get all the roots, seed hulls and algae off it.

Sent it back. No instructions. No dvd as promised.

If the pump lasts, and sprouts grow well, it would make this one of, if not the best sprouters on the market. Only slight drawback I see at this time is that refilling of water could be easier although it is not a big inconvenience really, and pumping out old water is very efficient. I will revisit this after I have tried growing a variety of seeds, salad mix, wheatgrass, and 3 bean mix (Doing now with both pre-soaking and no pre-soak. Been years since I last sprouted. Sadly this will take some time as there are no instructions regarding sprouting with THIS unit...only an assembly video on youtube. For those unsure about black cover, it is for keeping sprouts in dark for first 2-3- days to trigger growth, then remove so light will trigger chlorophyll production. I will try both, darkness first, then nop darkness, as the colored glass already filters light to a fair degree. I would recommend a portable plant grow light if unable to place near at least good indirect sunlight.
