I had ordered a different brand and the first day the velcro tore off the canopy. So as to say very upset. But Amazon REFUNDED my money. So I did more research and bought these. Yes,..they were more money about $13.00. However you get what you pay for. These BAGS ARE GREAT!! Very well built. Very sturdy and have a strap also that wraps around the both bags. I would highly recommend this product 😁

I bought these sand bags to hold down the 10 x 30 white party tent. The bags work great. The tent is cheaply made and broke after the first day. I was able to fix the tent (Macgyver style) and order another set of the sand bags to hold down all the legs. I filled them up with sand they are nice and heavy. Much needed if you are purchasing the white tent.

These work great for holding down my pool's solar cover. I filled them with sand and the weight they can hold really does the job. They also work well on the legs of my canopy sunshade. Some sand does leak out of the zippers and they do break down exposed to the elements. I now get two years service from them by storing them inside during the winter. But exposure to sun and rain for two seasons will pretty much do them in. All in all though, they work great and are a good value even if they only last two years.

These are perfect weights for my vendor tent! I have watched tents fly and products ruined while my tent holds steady! Thank you!

We purchased these weights to utilize with an Ez-up brand tent for a Farmers Market. At first use, they seemed like they would work. The zipper is very cheap so do not plan on filling and unfilling the bag multiple times. We encountered a very fast moving storm with high gusting winds. Our initial move was to drop our tent down to keep the inner contents dry. Because of the way the bags attached to the tent legs, You cannot actually snap the legs into a low locking position without first removing the bags, thereby losing the weight that is holding down your tent. The wind caught the front edge of the tent, extended the front legs back up and snapped the back legs of the tent. We lost a brand new $200 tent. I would not reuse these bags on a new tent because they make it dysfunctional.

UPDATE: After reading my initial review, the vendor sent me the latest version and they are indeed much stronger, but they're still not quite stout enough. Within just a few uses, one has developed a hole resulting in sand everywhere. Short of increasing the durability of the bag, I think I'll need to line the bags with thick plastic sheeting to help prevent leaks. I increased my star rating from 1 to 3 due to their legit effor to make a better productPerhaps I got the first of a new design because the ones I got are pretty horrible and certainly not worthy of more than a star or two. Once filled, you have to handle them VERY carefully. If one tips over before its secured to the tent leg, the zipper will pop open and sand will spill out. It's not an exaggeration to say you have to treat the filled bag like a very heavy egg carton when loading and unloading. They can't be dropped (even from a few inches), and must be set down very gently to prevent the cheap zipper from popping apart. I've used them about 3 times so far, and one already has a hole midway up. I'm going to try lining them with a couple of strong trash bags to see if that helps make them usable for something other than spewing sand everywhere they're used or stored.
