The media could not be loaded. Product is very smelly so definitely need windows open and a mask would be ideal but the product itself works really well and is really easy to apply. I bought a scraper tool and together they worked brilliantly on my bannister

I bought this product to strip many layers of varnish, stain and god knows what else on the staircase, bannister, spindles and newel posts in our new home. The product was pretty strong smelling (wasn’t expecting it to be that bad). It worked well on the bannister but on the spindles and areas where there are tiny details, it didn’t lift the paint. Which has resulted in me buying new.Advice for anyone buying this, the product says use a good amount, use even more than what it says. I found I literally had to slap it on, as it wasn’t lifting anything in parts.I would buy again, if that something didn’t have intricate details on it, or if it was wood furniture, or something flat basically.. Wouldn’t recommend for a full staircase removal unless you want to spend hours repeating the process!Haven’t used any other products then this, but it did work on parts.

Nice thick paste which is easy to apply. Smell is strong but not unpleasant. I've been stripping old painted garden furniture in the garage, always keeping the door open.Polycell stripper is the best I have found as it stays where you put it and if applied in a thick layer and left for 2 hours it softens the old paint and stays moist, so is easy to scrape off.I've tried other gel strippers which run and bubble and are really so smelly I worry about inhaling the fumes as well as possible burns. So I recommend this one, its the clean to use and with patience works very well.

This product has a very strong odour, so make sure you. Have good ventilation.It's good , but it doesn't do up to 20 layers as advertised.May coats need to be appliedCost advantage price

On opening the parcel, found the tub was split at the bottom with some of the content leaking into the parcel.It was recoverable, scraped the leakage onto the area where we are stripping the paint and "fixed" the bottom of the tub with a good layer of brown masking tape.The contents within the tub was okay and usable.

This stuff is hands down the best brand!I've gone through so many tins and different brands but this stuff works the best..It removes years and years of pain down to the wood quite easily.It also doesn't smell as bad as some other brands

The media could not be loaded. the plastic container is simply too delicate but adding a plastic bag would help. It's not the fault of the store or the courier rather the plastic container is delicate in my opinion. but the product itself is great I am delighted and have already ordered another one I have a big renovation project so I am glad I managed to buy a brilliant product that will help a lot

Used this stuff numerous times! It’s very good however very potent! Be sure you have a lot of ventilation and a mask. Does the job very well and will save you a lot of time :)
