Im a Chevrolet dealership technician
Like my title states. Im a dealership technician. I drive a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze eco. Mine just hit 90k miles. So I figured id go ahead and replace this and some of the other cheaper sensors. The idle was getting a little more sporadic as time goes on so i figured this was probably gummed up by oil. (Cuz of the junk pcv system). Had parts at my chevy dealership look up the correct part number then hopped on amazon and bought this one. Its the real deal. Comes in the same ac delco bags that I see thousands of a year. Dont be afraid to buy it. Keep in mind. Dont be a parts changer and just replace parts because you think it will fix your problem. Pay someone to diagnose it. Don't buy this part, then because it didnt fix it leave a bad review. Thats not how this works lol.

Does not fit Cruze lt 1.4L
At the time of purchase, Amazon told me this fit my car. As of now when I've still had persistent P0106 issues and did some line tracing, it all falls back to this sensor. I look at the store page now and NOW it says it doesn't fit. Ordered a new one and slapped it in today, zero issues. Please make sure its the right one for your vehicle before purchasing.

Fixed things I didn’t know were wrong.
My motor had a rough idle, I thought it was because of all the parts the previous owner put on. This smoothed out the idle with and without the A/C on, fixed my surging issue when the A/C kicks on, and now it pulls all the way through the rpm range. If you have a Chevy sonic and haven’t replaced this just to keep things fresh. I highly recommend it if your vehicle doesn’t feel as spunky as it used to. For a loud ticking noise towards the back of the engine, replace the vapor bypass valve next to this part on the intake.

Eazy Peazy. Get an engine light, go to Autozone, buy this part, 5 minutes.
Yes, cars today are much more complex, but the diagnostics are killer. Take your car to any modern auto parts store, the kid will come outside with a $13 diagnostic tool, and in about 30 seconds the tool will know your car's secret life. Back inside, he writes the codes into the computer, and it tells you what is wrong, and usually, what part to buy. This part is right on top of the engine, requires only a phillips #2 screwdriver, and it makes the engine light go off. Do it.
