Captain Sorensen's Datil Pepper Hot Sauce, 16 Ounce (473 ml) by Firehouse Subs

This is a great sweet/ hot condiment which adds a ton of flavor to sandwiches or anything else one would want to up the flavor on.

This stuff is amazing! I love Datil Peppers! As a kid we used to go to St Augustine FL all the time and there are vast farms of this relatively uncommon pepper. These peppers can pack a punch in spice and flavor! They have a sweet bitterness (seems like an oxymoron) that is incredibly unique.This sauce brings back tons of nostalgia. It is sweet and tangy, it highlights what is great about the Datil, but also doesn't blow your socks off with heat. Its fairly mild, and because of that I put it on everything! Try it at Firehouse, buy a bottle here (you can get it cheaper here than in store)!

The quality of this product is awesome

The flavor is amazing and the thickness is just right. We originally brought this down south but they don’t sell it anywhere near us. So this was a great but till we go back down south.

It is a bit on the sweet side but it is a good sauce.

My favorite sauce. Not hot, but has a kick. Sweet taste with those datil peppers. It's like a better tasting, less spicy version of secret advark. I will be ordering this again for sure. This is an everyday sauce. Packed with flavor and not overwhelming like some sauces. I like hot, but for an everyday sauce...it's about taste. This fits the bill well.I called Firehouse years ago and asked if they sold this sauce and they directed me to online sales.....well after seeing another reviewer saying you could buy it in the stores I called again. Turns out they do sell the sauce now. I highly recommend this route as it's $5.99 a bottle.

A modest, but enjoyable amount of heat with well-paired sweetness that isn't overpowering. Highly recommend to any hot sauce enthusiast who values flavor over spiciness, but still enjoys a good balance of both.

I love the Engineer sub at Firehouse Subs, especially with this hot sauce. I take submarine bread, turkey, mushrooms, shredded ice burg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayonnaise, deli mustard, Swiss cheese, and a pickle. Then I top it off with some Sorensen's Datil Pepper Hot sauce.
