Goldilocks of the tables
Excellent purchase. In a perfect world a full size table would have been my 1st choice. Our basement area is not long enough for that option, so my search for a smaller size table commenced. I had narrowed it down to 3 choices, the Joola midsize, the Stiga space saver, or the Butterfly Jr. My mind was set on the Stiga but it was 100 bucks more expensive. Then I decided on the Joola, and if my 7 year old son enjoyed playing would move on to a full size outdoor table and put it in the garage. Plus it was around 100 bucks and had positive reviews. Unfortunately for Joola, when I logged into amazon to buy the price had went up considerably! So my research started all over. Joola smallest size. Stiga great quality. Butterfly Jr. most playing space and decent price. *scratches head*My son and his buddy had set up a net on the dining room table with dimensions of 3 foot by 5 1/2 foot. It was a bear for me, yet alone 7 year old to play on. So for learning, IMHO more playing surface is better. So I pulled the trigger on the Butterfly Jr. and I am so glad i did.Delivery was on time. Then the moment of truth, opening the package to see if it had handled the voyage to my doorstep. Was packaged perfectly. Had the bottom of table facing out so if was to scratch, it would not hurt the playing surface. Extra care was taken on the edges and sides, using some sort of particle board to protect them. Next I pulled one side out and pulled down the legs, then the other side, and finally attached the net. Done. Drank a beer and waited for my son to come home. Simple, solid, nice looking table that made it thru shipping. I was happy. It plays great. 4 ft by 7 ft really does give you enough space to battle without hogging up half the house. Also compared to a full size table, it plays better for the younger folks because they can reach the whole playing surface.Time will tell on the durability, but seems nice and sturdy, easy to move around, and a blast to play on. I highly recommend this table if you do not have the space for a full size or have younger kids. Its the Goldilocks of the tables, not too big but not too small.Couple improvements I would like to see.- Instead of the wheels that supposedly help you move it around- install height adjustments/levelers on the legs.- Would be nice to have some sort of latches on bottom to hold the two sides together.- Maybe add an option for some Butterfly Paddles and Balls. Do you really want your customer playing your competitions paddles and balls?- Made in USA, I try to buy as much as possible from the good ol USA. Would be nice to have this option even if it cost me 20% more.Quality table, affordable price, and perfect size for our space.

Fantastic table!
If you are lacking the space needed for a full size table, this is a great option. Most of the other smaller options out there are 2/3 tables which are a bit too small. This 3/4 option is excellent. If you are used to a full size table it will take some getting used to, but once you've used it for a while you don't really think about it. The table arrived packaged very well, with no damage. It is already completely assembled except for attaching the net. The table halves butt together and are held in place on each side by the net's clamp assembly. It is like a large clothespin and just clamps down on both sides whoch keeps them in the same plane. It holds them together just fine, but if you are moving the table around it will not hold. The net is fantastic. Fits great, has a tensioner on top, so no slack. Bounce on the table is excellent except for the edges where you get a different bounce because of the steel frame underneath. We have a spot for the table so it will stay out, but it is really simple to disconnect the net and fold the table legs for storage. The two halves are only 4 or 5 inches thick total so it's easy to store it. I especially like that I can easily carry it up and out of the basement if we want to use it outside or take it with us somewhere. This is something I would not be able to do with a full size table. I went with the blue color and it is just awesome. We are very happy with the purchase and look forward to years of use with family and friends.

Simple table, great size
My family has had a great time playing on this table. The size is a good compromise between a 1/2 size which is too small and a full size which takes up too much space. It was easy to put together since you just unfold the legs, put them together and clip on the net. The two halves are not exactly lightweight, but they’re easy enough to maneuver around and store against a wall. We keep them in a closet under a stairwell when not used.My only complaint would be that the legs are too stiff to unfold. Unlike a card table that has a smooth folding action and satisfying click, you feel more like you’re forcing them into place. The table is sturdy enough once together; it would just be nicer if they felt a bit higher quality.

Great, good looking, well-made table.
I will admit I was not expecting much from this table. I paid slightly more than the junior sizes because I wanted something slightly bigger than the typical 36 x 72. Delivery was great as usual. The box was exactly what I was expecting but was heavier, which was a good sign. Packaged well, with corner supports made of fiberboard to protect the corners, I was happy the table was not damaged. Set up could not have been easier, open up two legs on each table, place them next to each other and then use the provided heavy duty clamp to line the table up and lock them in place. When I say lock I don’t mean that they are connected in anyway, the clamp just clamps at the edge of each table to keep them in place and it does a fairly good job. I was hoping for an actual clamp mechanism under the table but this does not have one. I was also impressed with the net which attaches to the clamps and was tight. I was also happy with the color, pleasantly surprised. It’s not a typical green, it’s a lighter lime, more fanciful. Fits perfectly in our house. The surface is also perfectly smooth. Overall, I’ve only had it for a couple hours, but I can tell it will stand up well to our use. Very portable, lightweight enough to maneuver but plenty sturdy for everyday play. That said, I wouldn’t let my 3 yr old jump on it, it’s not THAT sturdy. Size is great for small room and young to teen kids to even play doubles, no problem. Definitely highly recommend!
