Q: Is the collar waterproof?

This collar will continue to work if your pet gets mildly wet while taking nature calls outside in wet weather but the animal should not swim or be bathed with the collar on: remove it & put back on after these activities. The “pesticide” is released continuously during wear & works on all life cycles of the flea/tick but will not harm your pet. Good luck 👍

Q: Can you bathe a dog with this collar on? I have to give regular baths and would not last 4 months. can they be removed for a bath?

I had to strip this collar off of my dog, a big husky, because it was killing him. Within 15 minutes after I put it on.him, he started shaking and drooling. A 300 dollar vet bill later and he was fine. I would NEVER use this collar!

Q: what if my cat gets close to our dog wearing this collar?

If only one pet is wearing them they should be fine but if both are, then a force field type separation will occur. But there collars do work well!

Q: Would this also be effective for repelling mosquitoes?

I don't rely on collars. I'll use it in the summertime as backup. I find the Vets Best Spray after you use the Shampoo to be the most effective combination. I have been using them for years. I use a collar as a backup as it will only really help the neck area. It's not going to travel over the body.
