This is fabulous material. Even higher quality than I was expecting.I used it to make a Princess Zelda costume for Halloween. It worked really well. The under dress and all lining was done with this satin.I recommend using pellon on all seams to help reinforce them if they will be well used as in this costume, the material is great but still reinforcing it makes those seams even stronger.This would be great fabric for a formal dress or wedding dress. Vests and bow ties as well.

well first of all the price is just great and the quality is perfect. I am/was just starting my small wedding planner business so this fabric are great for my decoration and for back drop. I love it !!!

It's hard to tell from a written description what the quality of the fabric is going to be. Especially satin. There is a wide range of quality. The higher-end satin has a little weight and a beautiful drape to it. The lower-end satin it's super lightweight and has a lot less drape. I wanted to buy in bulk size because I can't afford to buy what I need at the fabric store. That would truly be cost-prohibitive for me.I'm making infant gowns for babies who will never leave the hospital. I am a volunteer photographer for NILMDTS and we provide a free professional portrait session for families facing the loss of their babies. Many babies are too small for any clothes available for purchase, but all mommies want to see their baby dressed in something beautiful. Especially for portraits, right? So I decided to create a pattern and make some in a variety of sizes.The most important feature is the drape of the fabric. A stiff fabric isn't a good choice for a gown on a tiny baby. I knew I was taking a big chance with this purchase, but the price was right! I have to say that it was worth the price I paid. My hopes were probably a bit too high in terms of the quality.Compared to the remnants of satin I've purchased at the fabric store, this satin is best suited for wedding decorations I suppose. It's not a super easy fabric for sewing as it frays an awful lot. Again, I can't complain even if I'm a little disappointed. It worked well enough. I've attached a few images so you can see how it drapes and looks when made into a small gown.Would I buy it for this use again? I'm not sure. I might be happier buying remnants at a discount when they are available at the fabric store. Again, I truly do believe the price I paid was very fair for the amount of fabric I received. It was clean and well packaged and just as described.

Good strong material,a whole lot of fabric but very dirty in a lot of spots and some were unable to wipe completely clean,left obvious spots were the dirtwas wiped off.Not a good buy for the money,dissapointing.

I used this to wrap the wood framing where my husband and I would be getting married under. It was the perfect size and looked lovely.

Fabric is good for my banquet chair covers that I'm making. It's not the other fancy satin but it's still really good for what I'm making. Seller was very understanding and offered a discount when order arrived late.

This is more sheer than I anticipated and the grain is off. I tried to correct it, but it keeps pulling back to how it was rolled. I'm using it for costumes and hope it won't affect how they look on stage.
