Extremely effective kneaded eraser
I was also disappointed at first since it comes dry out of the case and is hard on your fingers when kneading, felt crumbling as well. Decided not to use it until I learned from another artist to keep using it throughout a few drawing sessions to break it in. So I started to use the eraser and after a few extensive uses it became very supple and extremely effective. It picks up 2B- 8B effortlessly. Even stopped using my regular eraser. It’s my guess, but it’s possible the eraser reaches its full effectiveness after the color it ships in disappears while mixing with graphite. Awesome eraser!

Not great
This is not a great charcoal drawing eraser. Doesn't knead well & smudges.

I think it’s a pass
I love Kohinoor products. I’m not sure about this one. It won’t kneed up. It bends then begins to break. It will erase. You can put the dust back onto the eraser and it will stick. I’m not sure what this thing is supposed to be. I would pass on this one. The box is really cool though.

Totally dried out and unusable
I ordered two. I like the idea of a kneadable eraser that had its own little case to help it keep clean. But they were both completely dried out and totally unusable.

Un-shapeable
It is dry and I am not able to knead it. I am still trying to shape it which is surprising because this is not my first kneadable eraser. I had not had this happen before with these kinds of erasers. It does it erase, but I can't get it into any shape. :(
