Great Phone, Perfect for what I need
Nowadays when everyone, including me, have a fancy huge touch screen phone worth millions of dollars, its nice to have a phone with actual buttons on it and pretend you took a time machine trip back to 2005.I actually bought this phone for my work, so I wouldn't have to worry about breaking my galaxy s all the time. I'm in Canada and with Bell, so it took me a ridiculously long time to just find a phone that would even work on my network with just a sim card. (HSPA).But now that I've received my phone, its perfect. In the morning when I'm off to work I can pop my sim out of my galaxy and put it in this lil nokia. And after work put it back into it.One thing I did notice is that the back cover seems like its almost not supposed to come off, you've gotta really pry it off if you want to get to that battery. As for games and such its really easy to copy those .jar files right over, and after 20 minutes of searching I've decided that my most played game is Meboy, a gameboy emulator!Overall great phone, kinda slow to load from when you slide the keyboard up, but it lights up really fancy when you get a text or call. One last note, I don't know where this seller is really from, I thought it was just the states, but on the box it says "WARRANTY ONLY VALID IN NIGERIA" and it came with a europe charger and then a europe to north america adaptor, kinda strange.

Nokia 7230
I have used a flip phone for as long as I can remember. I decided to try the Nokia 7230 because I like phones that have a protected keypad and it certainly doesn't hurt to have a sleek and fashionable cell. When I popped in my SIM card I immediately got an error message that read: "SIM card registration failed." I was really disheartened because I was afraid that the phone was not unlocked as the description stated it would be. I tried restarting the phone several times but to no avail. I took the phone and my SIM card with me to the local AT&T store. It turns out that the problem was my SIM card and not the phone. My SIM card is over a decade old and slightly water damaged, which prevented the Nokia from reading/detecting it properly. A new SIM card was all I needed. Thus, bear in mind, especially to those who are transitioning from a older technology, that in case you receive a similar error message as I did make sure to pay a visit to your local cell phone provider store to see if they can offer you any solution. Now that the phone is up and running, I'm glad I didn't return it.
