Great swing set!
This swing set is really well made. I was so impressed with the quality! The components feel very sturdy, all the holes line up and the directions were easy to follow. I had the whole thing assembled in no time, just needed help standing it upright because it is so heavy. The grandkids love it and Nana is a hero!

Nice quality swing set
The set was easy to assemble using basic hand tools and the hardware seems to be of good quality. The 3”x 3” square cedar wood legs are comprised of three boards laminated together which should be good for resisting warping and twisting as long as weather doesn’t degrade the glue bonding the laminations together. The main beam is 3” x 5” cross section. The hardware and wood is from China, so it may not hold up as well as Western Red Cedar from British Columbia or Washington state.Note that all of the wood in swing set from the factory was cosmetically stained for color and needs to be sealed. Proper sealing is a condition for your warranty. I contacted the company (Backyard Discovery) and they couldn’t recommend a sealing product brand, but said a good deck stain would be good.I used a Sherwin Williams Deckscapes semi-transparent stain water based stain to match the color of our deck. Two coats were applied to all the wood surfaces before assembling the swing. The thought being that assembling the set before staining the wood would make it impossible to stain the wood that slides metal fittings as well as the end grain where the wood legs touch the ground. The photos show the assembled swing as well as the wood parts with the factory cosmetic stain and some of the first coatof deck stain that I applied. You can see the lamination in some of the legs photos. We also installed a nice toddler swing seat made by Tiny Tykes for under age three kids.Overall we’re very happy with the swing set. It is an attractive design and when anchored using the auger style anchors is very solid and rigid. We plan to heavily mulch around the swing set for fall safety when the kids out grow the toddler swings. When you add up the time to stain/seal the set and assemble it, it is much more time than the stated two hour assembly time. I estimate that I spent about 5 or 6 hours over two days staining the wood, assembly was about 2 hours, leveling and anchoring took about 1 1/2 hours and I’m guessing mulching will take at least 6-8 hours (including hauling mulch, installing a border edge to contain the mulch, spreading and leveling the mulch). The auger style anchors can be difficult to install if you have rocky soil or a lot of tree roots.Leveling the set laterally and longitudinally (side to side, forward and back) was a little time consuming and the instructions don’t recommend the best way to do that. Our land slopes slightly from east to west and from south to north so I needed to level along two planes. I did so by removing small amounts of soil from under the “high” legs to bring the set to almost perfect level, a tedious and time consuming but extremely important task.

Worth every penny!
We bought this swing set for our 9 year old. She absolutely loves it! It was very easy to put up. It is sturdy and looks great! We had an issue with the beam cracking down the middle due to us not sealing it. I called their customer service and was greeted by a very professional woman who sent us another beam, at no charge, which we received 3 days later. I definitely recommend.

More solid than most
I purchased this for my 14 year old ASD son, who's 5'8" and 140lbs. Yes, I know it's only rated for 10 year olds, but that's the case with every other swing I found. This seemed like the tallest and most solid. The hardware came in individual LABELED bags. IKEA should take a lesson from these folks. The instructions are decent, though one diagram is slightly incorrectly labeled. The proper attachment of brackets for the legs is pretty obvious though, so this is no big deal. You may find it helpful to have a right-angle Torx set like B0000CBJE0 which may be easier on your hands than the included Torx wrench.A cordless drill similarly will accept the included Torx driver to get the screws most of the way in. This will also help tighten by being able to twist both sides of a given connector assembly at the same time.I had difficulty driving the included ground stakes, which are a single-turn auger design. My subsoil is clay and rocks, though. I found that I had to alternately twist with an adjustable wrench and pound with a hammer to get it them in.Notably the instructions say to not place on a hard surface -- which includes *grass*. Guidelines are given for various depths of bark, tire bits, etc.A corner brace to lend rigidity would be nice to supplement the steel brackets.

Impressed with Quality at the Price
This swing set is just the right size for our family. Doesn't take up a huge footprint in the yard, but the two kiddos can both swing without worry of bumping into each other when swinging a bit crooked. I was able to install in a little over an hour by myself. I tested it out before anchoring, and with both kids swinging there was absolutely no wiggle in the set. I've since anchored, and have full peace of mind that this set is totally sturdy. I'm completely satisfied with this purchase - great price for what you get if you're looking for a swing set that is on the smaller side!

Perfect small backyard swing
This is a very nice, small backyard swing. We purchased it to entertain 2 small kids. You can easily swap out the swing seats for things like a trapeze, a glider, etc.My husband sealed it before assembly and he plans to re-seal it regularly, but it’s very nice looking.

Great purchase
Sturdy and solid, we felt confident with our 14-month-old squealing with delight on this swing set. We’d preciously purchased a toddler swing (the kind with the totally enclosed seat you stick their legs through), thinking we’d hang it on one of the many trees on our property, but once we got it, we weren’t satisfied with our trees. An extensive search ended with this purchase, where we simply hung the original swing alongside one that came with this set. We couldn’t be more pleased. After assembling, my husband put a protective sealant coat on the wood to preserve it for years of use. Great value for the cost, that kept our toddler granddaughter and 7-year-old niece entertained for hours! Recommend highly! Only drawback: heads-up -the nuts and bolts are spray painted with yellowish-gold paint that rubs off on your hands when you install them. Small price to pay for this bargain!
