I'm on year two of owning this and I've used it rather regularly. Have a few motorcycles, dirtbikes and older vehicles that are in various states of condition... the one constant other than rust is that you can't drive them all at once and thus, they sit. This thing jumps cars no prob and is great for bringing new-ish batteries back from the dead in a rather short time. I really should invest in trickle chargers.

Its heavy about 60 lbs , havent opened it up i have no reason to. But the first thing i notice for a 50amp charger the wire gauge is like 8 AWG very thin and doesn't feel like pure copper either. Feels like CLAD copper/ aluminum . 5 mins into charging the red and black wires at 30amps 24dc the wires are hot! Not a good sign . The negative is hard wired into the box so youd have to open it up if you want to wire with 2awg to 0awg the proper size for this amperage.The positive is a screw nut/ knob that could be easily replaced with the proper gauge wire.Makes you wonder how long it will last with such small wires.. I got the 2 year warranty. Hoping i dont have to use it to replace it. Also wouldnt modify it if thats going to alter the warranty like most policies nowadays. Wish the company would just put proper wire size and 100% copper . Disappointed for $220 i expected a little more quality items

This charger is a beast! It is heavy! It has no bells or whistles, no complicated electronics, it is simply a high output charger. It charges a dead H8 battery to 80 to 90% in less than 30 min. I have been using it non stop and it performs flawlessly. Regarding the instructions, I agree with the other reviewers, they are useless.

When I unboxed the unit, I heard a rattling sound inside of the machine. I connected everything up to the unit as instructed and the unit would never charge a battery. It would only display 0 on the display. I tried it on multiple batteries and got the same result.The Seller did a great job on the return, but the unit itself is junk. I liked the style and structure of the device, but ultimately it did not work. The Seller was not interested in sending me another charger, but refunded me the money instead. I would have liked to try a different one.

Boss is using it to charge a semi truck which has been sitting for six months. Batteries would only make a clicking noise. In half hour on 12v it was turning over and started. Maybe I sell to boss for 350 and buy one for me and make 100 .

The Amazon listing states the charger has a digital display, which the one I received clearly does not. This does not effect operation but is irritating that it does not match what I was told it would be.
