Works well and fast; couldn't be happier
My old Tescook vac sealer fell to pieces, so I read reviews -- the most persuasive by a woman familiar with the brand -- and ordered this Koios model. I couldn't be happier. No need for me to add another video; just watch those with five stars. It's far faster, more efficient, simpler and smarter than my old sealer. It pulls the air out of bags with moist food without also sucking the moisture into the machine. My Koios vac sealer just came today. I've already sealed and frozen maybe 12 cooked chicken tenders (for my miniature Aussie), six fat cooked chicken breasts, and bunch of peeled bananas (great frozen snack), all in individual bags.I use a vac sealer all the time and have a good stock of bags. I dehydrate sweet potato slices for healthy dog treats and seal them into small bags. Vac sealing keeps dry nuts, beans, rice, etc. fresh and saves space. It came with nice extras: an external slicer to cut bigger bags into smaller ones; an exterior tube and stopper to suck the air out of wine bottles and other containers. Best extra: a replacement foam gasket. The sealer didn't come with instructions. No problem for anyone who's used one before; otherwise look on YouTube.I loved my old sealer. I love this one more.PS: since this review, I’ve vacuum sealed dehydrated sweet potatoes as dog treats nearly every day.

Works
I purchased these as the recommended bags for my vacuum sealer. It is nice to have them on a roll so you can adjust the size as needed. They do not cut as easily as I thought they would using the slide cutter on the sealer. Cutting them with a scissors isn't the easiest either. It's hard to get a straight cut and without a straight cut, the sealing is harder. I may just go back to individual bags. They seem to be durable. Price seems to be a decent value.

Smart small sealer
So far so good received 4-2025Like it’s compact. It doesn’t take allot of counter space. No too noisy. All sealers make sound.

Always wanted a vacuum sealer. Decided on this one because of the higher 90Kpa and 8 in 1.
I like the idea of not wasting food. As a single guy making opened food and meals last a little longer is must, especially when I BBQ and end up with a ton of leftovers. And most food packaging isn't designed for singles or small batches. Also like the option to seal and protect non food items as well. Vacuum sealer to the rescue.Shopped around quite a bit before settling on this one. Is compact, has one the more higher powered vacuums and has all your basic features plus hose attachment. Have sealed a few bags and items now, that's pretty much the bulk of what I'll be using it for ... so far has it has done an excellent job of sucking the air out and heat sealing the bag, very tight shrink. Pretty easy to use and compact. Bought a roll of extra bags, comes with a bunch of two size pre-cut pouches. Only thing odd is the cutter on top, it's a razor slider, it works but it's a little awkward to use while holding things in place with one hand and trying to get a clean straight cut with the other. Comes with replacement foam strip for the inside vacuum reservoir, instructions were tucked between the bags. Hopefully this unit as a whole will last.

$60 for a shoddy product that doesnt even work.
I am learning to read the negative reviews and look for trends when shopping on Amazon. I bought this so that I could store/freeze food to preserve it longer if I needed to. COVID19 happens and I need to preserve my food; I take this thing I bought that has been sitting on the counter and try to seal some meat for the freezer. The unit cut on and took abit for it to get air out as suction was kind of weak but when it finally did instead of heating up and sealing the bag close it just shuts off letting all the air back in. I call customer service and they tell me to take a video of it happening so they can make a decision on replacing it (its under warranty mind you but I have to prove it dosent work, red flag) . I sent a video of the defective product and they told me they would be sending me a replacement. Something told me to confirm they sent the replacement so I called only to find that they cancelled the replacement because they didnt have any in stock. Seeing as I was given a defective product that was still under warranty, and they couldn't honor their own warranty I asked for a refund. They sent me a reply offering to refund 60% of the price I payed. So let me get this straight; I pay $60 of my hard earned money that I could have spent elsewhere for a functioning product, I get a shoddy non-functioning product, manufactorer dosen't honor their warranty, company wants to keep 40% of the price paid while delivering 0% of the product advertised. Bad product bad customer service spend your money elsewhere....you have been warned.
