Bought this product after my starter went out on my 2008 Honda Accord the same night it was installed I noticed it was taking 2-3 cranks to get my car starer. After thinking something was wrong with my car because it kept throwing check engine lights and codes I went to Advance Auto Parts and got my starter from them all the problems went away and my car is back to normal after I switched out the starters However I had to pay for installation twice. Never buy this product just go to the nearest part store to save yourself the headache will be returning this today!!

Starter is weak, not enough rpm’s to properly crank motor. Threw a slow cranking code twice in first couple of days. Longer start cycle than the OEM starter. Installed fairly easy, but harness bracket on back was too short to properly hold harness clip. (Pic shows differences in clip length)Only good thing is that there is no core to be returned. I was able to purchase a brush kit and rebuild my original starter. It now cranks at proper rpm’s and starts like it did when it was new at 1/3 the price.

I have installed a good number of starters but this was most interesting installation of any I have worked on. Installation was from the top whereas all the others have been on my back under the car. I like working from atop the engine. Watched an excellent YouTube clip on it and install took just about an hour. Car starts better than ever!

While the starter itself is as easy to install and a direct fit, it only lasted a few months. I was scratching my head trying to figure out why the car was having so much trouble starting (again) and replaced a few other things, finally I decided to replace the starter with one from autozone which has a life time warranty, and now I have no issues. So in the end this was easy to install and was relatively inexpensive, it caused me more headache in the long run.

I like the fact that it is better than the starter that I took out of the vehicle,,, And it is completely made took factory specifications. I highly recommend this company I am extremely satisfied with its construction attention to detail and fit and finish.
