This marine collagen is Type 1 only, which does not improve cartilage (Type 2 is for cartilage). Although not stated above it is declared as Type 1 only on the back of the packet.

I found these really help me with my joint stiffness

I keep taking them since reading now cartilage is supposed to help joints and skin.But to be honest I have not seen any Improvement in myself.It may or may not be helping, too hard to tell., but will keep trying on the basis of medical research.

I have got another collagen supplement which is a powder that is mixed with water, I do like the convenience of a capsule as sometimes you just don't fancy having a flavoured drink.There are 60 capsules in this bottle for a price of £7, and it gets cheaper per capsule if you buy in larger quantities (180 costing £17) so I think it represents decent value.Each capsule contains 400mg, not a massive amount but over time enough to make a difference from the research I've done.After a couple of weeks my nails do seem healthier so I believe it is working

I do believe collagen to be helpful and I would recommend doing your research.Many supplements are very overloaded dose wise - this is one of the apparent exceptions. 400mg is quite a small dose really of collagen if you're looking to get major benefits from the information that I can find - I would strongly recommend that you do your own research to find out what might work for you.That said the cost is £5.99 for a 60 day supply so it's far more reasonably priced than a lot of supplements as well.Worth thinking about what you're looking for from your supplement.They do use a common filler in this, which I'd like the company to move away from - they're by no means alone on this, but bonus points are always in place for those supplement companies that work out how to provide the supplement minus the fillers.Four stars.⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

Gave me a very poorly tummy so had to discontinue use.
