Writing my Unbiased Review from my Personal Usage and Experience :I bought a new TV (TCL C655) since my old one (VU 43PM) died. My AV receiver (Sony HT IV300) has only ARC but supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS HDMA through HDMI inputs even though it doesn't support Dolby Atmos. Most movies today have Dolby Digital Plus audio and Bluray Rips have TrueHd / DTS HDMA. Since my old TV had only ARC support, i was simply using an optical audio cable. My new TV now supports eARC. So i bought this device and made the connections and applied the settings as follows :1. Connected TV's eARC port to eARC port (Output 1) of Orei HDA 9272. Connected AV Receiver's HDMI in port to Output 2 of Orei HDA 9273. eARC flip switch on Orei HDA 927 set to 'On' position4. EDID flip switch on Orei HDA 927 set to '2' position since the EDID of my AV receiver needs to be copied so that it's capabilities can be known by the TV if needed.5. Make sure the Digital Audio Out on the TV is set to 'Pass Through'.6. Make sure the Audio Output device on the TV is set to ARC/eARC device.7. Enable the CEC Function on the TV. Disabling this will have issues with the audio or there will be no audio at all.Tip : Once the Orei HDA 927, Your AV Receiver and TV are all turned on, and if you're hearing the sound but the surround is not working, turn the eARC switch to Off position once and then Turn it back on again. This will eliminate the issue and now the device will transmit lossless audio to the AVR. Because in my TV, if i simply turn on the Orei HDA 927, it shows "Device connected to eARC/ARC" and surround doesn't work. But if I perform the above mentioned operation, it then shows "Audio System connected to eARC/ARC" and then surround works flawlessly.Also, while using any App like Netflix, Plex, etc., seeking the video causes a small squeaking sound for a second or a two and then stops. Exact reason for this is unknown but it happens every time we seek the video. This sound only comes whenever the video is being forwarded or rewinded and stops in a couple of seconds but never comes when the video is being played. So it doesn't cause any disturbance. Very rarely, this sound doesn't stop even after the video playback is resumed and this causes no audio. During times like this, just turn off the device and turn it on again, and turn the eARC switch off and on once and you're good to go. For the features this device offers, this is just one minor glitch.Also, a constant power source (Wall USB Adapter) of 5V 0.5A or 1A is recommended for this device instead of plugging it into the USB port of the TV or AV Receiver.The Sound Quality has improved very significantly after switching to this setup from my old optical cable setup. The sound is rich and clear. Also, earlier Plex used to transcode audio formats like DD+ and TrueHd into DD and DTS HD and DTS HDMA into DTS since Optical/ARC doesn't support lossless audio formats but now I'm able to Direct Play any lossless audio formats from Plex (Image Attached) and feed it via HDMI into my AV receiver thus unlocking the full potential of my Surround Sound System.Note : There is no Audio Lag while using this device and it is perfectly in sync with the Video. And while watching movies for hours, there is no audio drop or any malfunction. The audio quality, sync and output is very stable.If you are in a similar scenario as I am and have a similar setup like mine, you can definitely go ahead with this product as this will save you a lot of bucks that you might want to shell out if changing your AVR.Finally, thanks to the Seller, Fayz Electronics. Very prompt responses on WhatsApp and also they provide an year of warranty on this device. Also, Amazon delivered this device to me intact in its original packaging. I bought it for ₹ 2,677 during the Republic Day Sale. A great deal!

Audio not working but TV is working without sound.

This item is for audio system only which will support unsupported arc audio not for the Tv

I recently got a new TCL C755 MiniLed TV to replace my old 10-year-old Mi TV 4A. I connected it to my HT IV300 home theater. I had to use an eARC adapter because my receiver only supports ARC and can’t do Dolby Digital Plus. With this adapter, I can now enjoy true surround sound from streaming services without needing to buy a new home theatre. This was the only eARC adapter I could find on Amazon, and it’s made a big difference. Thanks to Fayz Electronics for bringing it to India.
