GameMax RGB850 Modular 80 Plus Gold Power Supply with 14cm RGB Fan - Black

I was abit nervous in buy this after doing some research and finding out that somebody was cloning and selling the PSU for a higher wattage than what it was. I thought bugger it am going to order one so I did and i must say I'm very impressed it came all nicely package with plenty of information on the rear of the box and also very well padded. There is plenty of modular cables and a good selection but all very very well made. There is a rgb button by the mains plugin so i would set your colour before you either put your PC Tower away or on the floor. The unit is good and sturdy the only thing is its a pity the rgb ring on the fan is upside down so you don't get to see much of the rgb fan lights but what I do see I quite like as it reminds me of a little furnace of fire through the glass side of my case and I must say I love it as its not in your face plus the fan is sooo quiet. Would I buy this again? there is only 1 answer to this and that is a massive YES. Would I recommend this? Yes I would. Its not only a good spec, well made, affordable price but its powerful even though I only bought the 850 watt I'm really surprised. I'm not sponsored by the company this is bought from my own pocket and what a good buy it is, if your after a PSU I would consider this to be in you list. thank you for reading my review

I believe from my research this one is great value for the power and the ability to remove unwanted wires from the powersupply the RGB fan is a bonus installing it in my case was a pain but that wasn't the PSU fault

No power cable supplied. And it doesn’t even work. My pc won’t even boot up. Of course after I bought this my friend that works at a place that builds PC’s told me these are crap and someone had brought one in to them to install that didn’t work. Now I have to go through the hassle of unhooking everything and plugging my old supply in. I am NOT HAPPY

Good solid device, works well, much quieter than my previous psu. Not interested in fancy flashing lights, but can see that this feature may please some.

I needed a new psu after buying a 3060 as my old 550w psu was struggling and I also wanted to upgrade my fans , thought I would try out a cheaper psu just to save some money , the quality of the psu is good but does not compare to the quality of one from a well known brand such as Corsair however it does the job , comes with everything it says it does however my only concern is the temperatures from the unit as I occasionally like to push my system to the limit and after trying it , it was rather hot to touch however this may just be because of the strain the system was under , definitely recommend this just for a budget pc build or if your trying to save some money also the fan is barely noticeable and the sound is barely noticeable.

item arrived broken, and stinking of a burning smell, I think it had had the cellophane redone, don't buy a no name PSU, go for an EVGA one or a seasonic, this totally ruined my build experience, don't let it spoil yours too!

Fitted and worked with no issues. I use my own power lead. Good value and well built product.

I don't even see the rgb with the case i got but am still more than happy.
