GAME ON Zero-Grind Nightguard - Custom Fit Night Guard for Teeth Grinding

UPDATE 2: So I got my new pair of nightguards in, reviewed the directions (cause it's been a while) and saw the note that the nightguards can be remolded unlimited times. Not sure about that claim, but decided to try it with my year+ old mouth guard that had gotten loose and misshapen. In less than 2 minutes my old mouth guard was fitting almost like new. I feel like kicking myself for forgetting this. Turns out the new set was unnecessary. At least for right now. Anyway, now I have a backup again. And I can attest to the fact that you can remold it, even over a year after you started using it.UPDATE: This lasted a year and two months of nightly use. Eventually the mouth guard stretched out a little and lost its ability to conform to my teeth. Still technically work, but not comfortable anymore. That was for a single mouth guard. Sadly, it's been so long since I purchased it that I can't find what I did with the second one that came in the order. But if it was around, I would be confident that this set would have lasted me two years or longer. Just bought another pair.My dentist said I was grinding my teeth and recommended a night guard. The one they offered was $800 and not covered by my dental plan. I tried a bite guard first, the kind that just goes between your molars, and found it very uncomfortable. The Zero Grind nightguard came with two guards, and a set of clear instructions. I did not have to trim it to fit. The first time I molded it, it didn't fit very well. Probably dunked it in the cold water too long. As the instructions stated, I was able to rewarm and remold it. I was pleasantly surprised because I've worked with weightlifting bite guards before and they most certainly do NOT remold with heat, no matter what the manufacturer says. Anyway, second time was a charm. They fit well, they stay in place, and it only took me maybe 2 or 3 days to get used to them.I've had them for four months now. The marks starting to appear on the underside of them indicate that I am definitely still grinding some night, and that the guard is definitely working. Once in a while I suction them too tightly to me teeth and have found my gums a little extra puffy the next morning. Though this goes away fairly quickly and I cannot think of any resolution to it, it is the only problem I have with it. I feel a professional night guard would have the same issue. Other than that, the guard has been fairly easy to clean and has not built up any plaques or biofilms on it. I also still have the spare for if/when I need to toss this. Looks like it'll probably last at least the rest of the year, though. I'd buy it again if I need to.

I did have trouble molding to fit and tried a few times. Overall, just not that great for my needs. I ended up going with the one my dentist fitted me with.

I don't get how you can actuallt "remold" them. Have tried, but the original indents from my teeth are still there.Haven't bitten through it yet, so fingers crossed.

Excellent product

I’m a night grinder. This is my second purchase of this product. The first purchase lasted 5 years. With this order which includes 2 at my age and potentially 10 years use could be life time. Great product. Very comfortable and easy to form to your teeth. Just follow the directions.
