UPDATED TO 5 STARS - ORIGINAL REVIEW: "Great Design | Poor Execution"
ORIGINAL REVIEW:"This product came fairly banged up. A dented main shelf, bits and scraps everywhere. Not the sellers fault so I chalked it up to bad shipping experience. The cart was still functional. The cart did not come with an instruction manual so I had to source it myself. After assembly I thought I had a nifty cart. But I am realizing this aluminum material is not durable in the least. The boom mic holder weld was shotty and has separated already. The knob to hold the cart in place is so janky I’ve already lost one of them. Folding the cart loosens every bolt and I’m in fear I may lose all of them. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? Wouldn’t know without the manual. If you’re looking for an audio cart I’d stick with something rack mountable. Pay that extra money. You might end up with something you’re gonna replace real quick otherwise."UPDATE: 5 Stars | Really Great Customer Service and a Short Rabbit HoleAfter my review a PROAIM rep reached out to me directly, offering a full refund for a return OR a partial refund and the opportunity to send a new unit out. This was extremely kind of them to offer multiple options, and I chose the option of having a new cart sent out. After waiting for direct shipping from the manufacturer to guarantee quality I received the new unit and was absolutely bamboozled. The replacement unit was about 3-4 times more sturdy than the previous cart, with additional functionality like locking screws on the top shelf unit. The material on the new cart was also powder coated and feels ridiculously strong. The flimsy aluminum on the original cart bent all over the place but I could literally smack this new one with a hammer and it wouldn't budge. The difference was so apparent I was convinced the first unit I received had to be a knock-off from a fake manufacturer. After contacting the support team I asked them why is this unit so much different from the original. Turns out they realized the material was not up to par with PROAIM's standard of quality. I was hesitant to update this review because I was thinking to myself that they only upgraded my unit, but have now been reassured that all future units will have this coating and additional functionality, while the older units will be sold as B-stock.This cart is perfect for my needs. Now, not only is it mobile, but its tough as nails and reliable. The customer service truly saved this product for me, and I am so happy to see a company that is able to take feedback on a higher end item, and continually improve it. Well done PROAIM.

So Far I'm Really Encouraged!!
I made sure to reach out to PROAIM and ask for the newest version of the Soundchief Lite Cart after reading a review that pointed out the quality of the new version. I will do a quick review on the cart and my experience:The cart seems great! For the price at under $700 vs $2500 - $3500 for other brands, I would say this feels great. It was a breeze to assemble and disassemble for travel or storage. All of the parts are smooth and seem extremely solid. Its all powder coated on the new version and all of the parts fit tight and seem very well made. I have not taken out in the field yet, but on an indoor shoot it performed great. The case is equally great quality. I discarded the crate and the white styrofoam pieces, but kept the foam sheets that protected it inside the case to use as some extra padding for travel. FYI: Yes, the wheels come off with ease, and the cart folds and stores in a rolling bag.Customer Service: I would give Reema 10 stars if that was an option. She communicated with me throughout the process, sent me the instructions to get the newest model, and followed up with me. It was the best service I've had in years. So, I can really say - Excellent Customer Service! Thank you, Reema!Overall, I am really encouraged that I got a what feels like a well made product for a reasonable price. $700 is not cheap for a metal cart, so the expectation should be a cart that looks great, feels great, has excellent functionality, and holds up well in the field. So far, so good!
