SmartwoolCozy Mitten

These mittens are woven wool. There is no insulation, the wool is the warming thing. They are porous enough for hands to keep dry - they allow perspiration to evaporate. Perfect for exercise to keep hands warm - temps in the 40’s and 30’s. Not as good for much below 30 Fahrenheit. In summary, nice looking, effective and most suitable for winter mid-range temps.

These gloves fit my hands really well. They're neither too thick nor too thin. I live in Boston and these keep my hands warm as I walk around doing my day to day stuff.

Wrong size

I've had SmartWool mittens for years. I love them but my old ones finally got a hole in them. So I ordered these. I ordered a small and they seem to run large on my hands. But the main issue is that they're not nearly as plush and cosy as my last pair. They seem sturdy and they will be fine for daily use, but I'm a little disappointed. They don't have nearly the same yummy feel to them.

Fits well with my long fingers, keeps my hands much warmer in this New England winter. They're not very water resistant, so if the snow melts on them they need to dry out a bit.

they are not warm. Temps are around 20 above right now ... there is n0 lining in them. The wind goes right through them.

Extra large is way too small to fit my hand. In fact, I cannot even force the mittens on! These are miniature mittens.

A hole developed on the back of one mit, and seams were starting to open on the thumbs.I've had smart wool products for years that have held up well (one hat for 15 or so years) but recently I've seen a real decline in quality.
