Dennerle Scaper's Tank 10g, 20" L x 16' W x 14" H, Glass

This is a well thought out collection of tank, light, and filter. Everything we needed to re-start a hobby. Added a heater and substrate and were ready to go. This arrived in perfect condition; packaging was extremely well done for a fragile item. Very pleased , well worth the price. Plants are thriving under the kit light, filter is the quietest I've ever seen (no noise at all). Highly recommend.

The light is amazing, the tank is beautiful, the filter is a little lacking but there are extensions you can buy. The filter is just a cotton mesh. No room to add carbon or Seachem Matrix. The extension is another $17 but worth it. We're happy with this tank.

From the product picture it looks like this tank is wide and shallow, however the tank I received is rather tall and not as wide as I thought it would be based on measurements. Everything was there except for the booklet which was kinda saddening as I was looking forward to reading that since I’m new to aquascaping. Oh well I guess I will just find it online somewhere.Also the shipping was rather worrisome as the item was inside a well protected box with fragile and handle with care on it, then placed UPSIDE DOWN in another box which did not have any of these markings. I was honestly surprised when I opened it that it was intact.

Really neat tank. Comes with everything you could think of: filter, lid, cushioning mat, light. The only extra equipment you'd have to get would be a heater. As a side note, my box was missing the rods that hold up the light. I emailed the company and they had a replacement sent in a few days. So customer service is top notch. Recommend this if you're looking for a rimless nano setup.

21 months and it leaked! Stand was level and used the foam pad they supplied. The glass bottom cracked and the fish were dead.

High quality tank. Very fast shipping also. Can't wait to get it all set up completely.

Overall it is a nice little tank for a small aquascaping project or shrimp-keeping, but I would not recommend it for complete beginners since the cons outweigh the pros.CONs:- filter that comes with the set is tiny and is not sufficient for a densely planted or well-stocked tank; it is still a decent option for shrimp and minimalistic aquascapes;- the light is not powerful enough for aquascaping; it either should be supplemented with one more additional light of the same wattage or fully replaced;- the glass cover that comes with this set is too big and does not allow any room for equipment installation, even a heater or a small canister filter of the same manufacturer (I wonder if it is a new cover design since the Shrimp King tank set of the same manufacturer that I bought a couple of years ago had a much more equipment-friendly cover and hinges);- no book that was promised in the description (it is probably some entry-level book that would not be of much use but if you promise something should not you deliver it?)PROs:- great size for small shrimp, e.g. red cherry shrimp;- thick clear glass;- comes with a levelling mat;- easy to clean due to rounded edges;

So the bad stuff first.. description on dimensions says "20" L x 16' W x 14" H" but measured out it's closer to 16"x13"x11".The filter is kinda useless especially considering this bundle goes for 168 bucks.The light is cool looking albeit too small for tank, threw it on a 5 gallon instead.The promised guide to aquarium plants was omitted.Now the good.. it looks wonderful.Glass is clear, lid is decent, clips are marvelous.Comes with a leveling pad for underneath.If it were closer to the promised dimensions I'd buy 5 or 6 of these. 🤷‍♂️
