Loved how it teaches children to be happy with who they are and not to please others. Teaches them to be themselves and be proud.My 13-month-old daughter loved when I read this to her. She might be to young to understand yet but I know it will become a favourite of hers.

I read the Kindle version. This is a lively tale about a giraffe with no herd, who tries to befriend other creatures. Saying he found his spots is not accurate, but it could be taken as finding that his true nature is valuable and unique. Sometimes it does help to learn to be like other people, especially for teamwork, so that might be a lesson for another book.Kids will have fun learning to recognise African wildlife and scenery. Adults could read aloud with sound effects. Good for kids from three to six years.This is an unbiased review.

I adored this book! The writing and illustrations are beautiful. It imparts the message to kids that they are special and wonderful just as they are. A perfect addition to any child's collection and definitely worth buying.

I ordered this book, it says that the language is ENGLISH...... it arrived, The front cover - The title is in English..... I opened the book and the whole story is written in FRENCH!!!!!!!
