The tablet clamp is solid, easy to adjust, and holds the tablet firmly. It can hold various thickness tablets. To get a "very" firm grip, user needs the squeeze the clamp inner mechanism on the back, while turning the lock button, but it is easy to do. Good product.

Bought a tripod off Amazon couple of years back for filming my golf swing. Bought this attachment recently for attaching an ipad to the tripod. Works well. Is just straining at the limit to get my ipad and case fitted as the case I bought has a space for a pen, but that's on me. Simple to use. Feels a little plasticky and I fear it might not stand up too well to damage, but for now, it gets the job done at a very reasonable price.

It really should have broke because I tried to force it to fit over a much too large and thick rugged keyboard case on a full-size iPad.In spite of my efforts it held up!
