Plantronics Analog Switch for Quick Disconnect (QD) Headsets

This device is a convenient interface between Quick Disconnect headset and phone/PC. It has both telephone and USB interfaces.

I bought this brand new on Amazon. Worked with my phone but not my Windows PC. I double checked all connections with parts that work elsewhere. I even swapped it with a Jabra ENA003 which worked fine. I could not get this to work with the PC using any combination of settings (A-F, Mute, PC/Phone rocker), but it does work with the Polycom VVX501 phone, just not the PC. HP/Poly Support was stumped. Poly Lens software saw the unit but said Device Support Coming soon. Really, folks? Plantronics had a great rep to protect before HP bought it. Let's fix your QA and invest in better support options/software/drivers.

Great solution to use one set of headphones to toggle between my computer and phone. So great not to have to keep changing headsets for phone calls.

Been primarily using a Cisco hardphone for work. Needed to add Zoom calls into the mix. This switch makes it easy to flip using my Plantronics headset between both by just toggling the switch. My only complaint is that the mute button makes an audible sound for everyone listening remotely, basically making it useless (unless I want everyone to hear a click when I mute and unmute). While I'd love to have a physical mute button, I've got other options (mute on the phone, mute in the Zoom app) so it's not a major issue.

I tried using this to connect my desk phone and PC to my Plantronic wireless headset. The headset works with both the phone and PC when connected to each one directly, but not with this switch. I tried contacting Plantronics (Poly) for assistance, but after a couple weeks of re-explainnig the issue over and over again and them never understanding the problem, I gave up. Bcause of the terrible service I received, I will never purchase their brand products again.
