A bag full of promises - Mokobara!
I bought this suitcase after comparing quite a few features with the Mi suitcase which I also happen to own. Feature wise the Mi suitcase is a lot similar but it is certainly a lot cheaper. I opted for Mokobara as it seemed to be better in quality than Mi and more importantly it was made in India. I have purchased quite a few luggage pieces during my frequent travel trips and here are my views and suggestions.1) Colours - I love the colours that are on offer and the luggage looks premium. I had opted for the limited option Forest sunray. Please do come out with more classy colours like these. I couldn't locate the white colored suitcase which is visible in the pictures on your website.2) Body - The body is made of a patented Makrolon poly carbonate material. It is pretty light and it looks like it can endure the rough handling of baggage at Indian airports. Having a light piece of luggage is helpful when the baggage allowances are coming down day by day.3) Zipper - One of the easy ways to know if you are buying a crappy piece of luggage is to look at the zipper. A cheaper bag will always compromise on the quality of the zipper. In this case the quality of the zipper seems to be much better than Mi. I would have however preferred an anti theft zipper that you get on brands like Delsey.4) Wheels - Love the wheels as it is very quiet and I expect this to last as well since this is a Japanese set known as Hinomoto. Always opt for a double wheeled 360 deg turning wheels as they are so much easier to move around.5) Handles - My only serious grouse with this product is the retractable handles. I would any day prefer a folding handle with protrudes outside akin like they have in Delsey. Generally you just have a few seconds to pull the bag off the baggage carousel at the busy Indian airports and it should be easy to grab the handle. It is also most accessed part of the suitcase and ease of use is important.6) Layout & Partition - Here is one part which could be subjective. I would have the preferred if the bag was split three / fourth so the lower portion of the bag had the higher capacity. It is much easier to rummage in the bottom part then the upper side of the suitcase. Aesthetically the midway split looks better but it is more practical when it is split 3/4. I generally use the top part to store my soiled clothes. It better to have a simple and clutter free suitcase and therefore fewer partitions and dividers are always better.7) Price - I believe the reason for the substantial price difference is not that easy to understand for the average person when you compare the Mokobara and Mi. I am second guessing Hanimoto wheels and Makrolon material don't come cheap.Mokobara is a bag full of promises and I hope it delivers in the long run. Proud to see an Indian startup make products like these.

Amazing wheels. Expensive but worth it. Build quality is nice. Zipper is also great. What could be better is cleaning accessories.

Good for
Bought this few days back, kind of looks elitetrendy holding capacity is satisfactory with a simple Ninja wheels and inspiring to try it out on a travel. But the only issue I could notice instantly is the zip lock mechanism even if the zip is fully locked for the sake of TSA arrangement there is a definite easy gap where in small insects, bugs can creep into it or even some tiny suspicious things can be slipped in by a third party which raises the apprehension. Rather if the model of the zipper ( kind of interlocking for which i have posted a photo ) is changed it saves a lot of tension / anxiety till you get out of the airport/ or any unsafe environment and spend valuable time enjoying the travel. Except this I would give a 4 1/2 stars,

Great product. Unbelievable customer service.
I bought this set two years ago, and have been using both suitcases fairly frequently. I've been impressed - the build quality, the finish, the organisers - all excellent. A month or so ago I noticed one zipper pull on the larger bag had come off. I saved the pull, and a few weeks ago wrote to their customer service, hoping the zipper could be repaired 'professionally' by the company.Forget repair! They replaced the entire set -both bags. The new set came today (pictured), and as one can see, is as well designed as the original. Can't recommend this brand more strongly!

The product is worth the price
We travelled to New York and back over the last month and used our new Mokobara set. The suitcases are sturdy and built to last. My 21 month old son also used this as a stroller as he couldn’t make those long airport walks. The wheels are smooth even with a 13kg kid sitting on top of it and this is on the cabin baggage trolley. The product is expensive, but cheaper than Samsonite of the same quality. Would definitely recommend.

Severely Scratched in one flight
The product looked very good, was spacious, and felt nice too. However, it got scratches all over in just one 2 hr plane journey. This did not happen with a similar, but far cheaper by half, bag, which we took with us on the same trip. Quite disappointed and very dissatisfied.
