KENWOODeXcelon XR901-5 Class D 5 Channel Amplifier

This little amp is amazing. Great sound quality. And wont break your bank against way more expensive ones that give about the same quality. The only thing missing out of this amp is the Subsonic filter but its still a nice 5 channel amp to run a simple system if that's what you are looking for.

Needed to power a modest arrangement -- 2x75W (2 ohm) door, 2x50W (3 ohm) rear, and 1x500w sub (2x250W 4 ohm || for 2 ohm). This Kenwood is well-sized to get it all on the one amp. Also handy as space is a premium, it's quite small. It's well-balanced, well-built, and hits rated power - nothing to complain about. The brushed finish is nice, no issues with terminals or overall build. Really only giving up two things with this one - it lacks a subsonic filter for the sub, and there is no protect light, but figure will know if it's in limp mode and have an EQ afront of it in the signal path so cross-overs are less an issue. It has all the characteristics of a class-d amp, which is just fine for me as it's in a drop-top so A/B would be wasted anyway.
