Great system, great deal, great support!!!
I was more than a little dubious about buying a refurbished computer but decided to take a chance. But now I am glad I did!The computer was shipped 2nd Day Air via UPS even though I did not spend the extra $12 for that service. On arrival, the computer was reasonably well packaged though a little extra crumpled paper would have been nice. The box held the computer and the charger.Initial inspection show a computer in excellent cosmetic condition. No scratches, scraps, dents or smudges marred the casing. On power up the computer failed to boot to windows. The stop code indicated an Inaccessible Boot Drive.I called the support number on the little card that came with the computer and after about a minute of dealing with a phone tree was connected to a live support tech who spoke excellent English. I explained the problem and he had me check several items in the BIOS. When that failed to resolve the problem, he helped me use the advanced recovery options to wipe the system drive and reinstall Windows. The entire conversation took less than 30 minutes and at end my new laptop booted to Windows with no problem. I would class the support offered as Grade A.Once Windows was running, I was able to look around. The computer is actually better than advertised on Amazaon. I got a Dell Latitude E6430 with an Intel Core I5, a new or near new Sandisk 128GB SSD with no detectable wear, 8 GB of RAM memory, a DVD-RW, USB 3.0, an eSATA connection, a slot for an Express Card, blue tooth and wifi. And the system fast! It runs circles around my old Celeron N3060. Windows updates that took hours on the Celeron now take minutes. There are only two drawbacks to the system that I have encountered. First, this system eats battery life like there is no tomorrow! I doubt I could get 3 hours of heavy usage using only the battery. I don't know if it is the system or simply an old battery. More on that later. The second problem is that the system runs hot, hotter than I expected. This may be the system or simply the system pulling so much power from the battery. More investigation is needed. Regardless, I ordered a laptop cooling pad from Amazon for $15 which will make the problem go away. All in all, I got a great deal for about $250.

Pleased with this purchase (genuine detailed review)
I needed a computer that I felt safe enough to carry around. I am a computer science student, currently attending grad school, and I already have a powerful macbook pro at home and have access to powerful imacs at school. I wanted to have something in my backpack, use it in class to test code, or in the library to read a textbook. The specification on this refurbished computer was more than I expected.First of all: This is a great laptop that is capable of doing everything. 2core-i5 processor, ssd drive, 8gb ram is a great deal.Second: Some reviews mentions the lack of camera or cd-room. While I didn't personally need these features, my computer arrived with a built-in camera, cd-room, and every single port mentioned in the description, including a built-in ethernet port. The laptop was delivered by UPS, the machine was attached to the surface to prevent damage during shipping and delivery. The item was in good condition, although it had some tiny surface damage (some peeled paint, ONLY ON THE EDGES). Other than that, everything was clean and there were no signs of wear.I tested the speed and the general processing power of the computer with installing both Visual Studio and Intellij. The computer was able to run small to mid size software with reasonable speed. No overheating. So unless you need extremely high end graphics for professional product design, making professional movies, play the newly released games up to their full graphical potential, this computer is more than enough for you. To be clear it has the power to run all of those mentioned apps/software, but you might need to invest in a more expensive machine to optimize your experience. The only two potential inconveniences could be battery time and storage:The runtime is really 2-3 hours when you're actively using it. However, this particular model's battery only costs $25 and you can get a second one and keep it in your backpack. It's really not a reason to pass on this deal. This is not a computer for storage. 128gb is plenty but you wouldn't want to drain space by stuffing it with movies/photos anyways. Computers/Physical machines are not reliable sources of storage anyways. Start using clouds for that purpose. So overall I feel like this was an extremely good deal for me. I will update if something causes me to change my opionions in the future. All that being said, whenever you buy a refurbished computer on the internet, there is always some risk of not receiving the most optimal one. However, I think its still worth the try for the price/performance ratio, since you have 90 day warranty anyways.

Good buy for money
Great so far after a month of use. Works real good boots fast and seems solid. Battery life is not that great. It actually says the battery is at the end of its life span but for the price I can live with it only lasting a few hours before charge.

I like it
This laptop has been serving me well. I got it refurbished.I don’t like:Around the keyboard it seems to be a little sticky. As if there was a decal there and had been peeled off. I can’t clean it to be smooth and dust collects on it.The keys near the mouse sensor aren’t very sensitive and I feel like I have to press them super hard to get a response. Those are minor problems though. The biggest thing I dislike is the coloring and contrast of the screen. I’m using this laptop for Astrophotography and have to view the screen at odd angles to see some details. The coloring is also completely different than when viewing it on other monitors or my phone.I do like::This laptop is powerful enough to run the software I need it to. Sometimes it’s take a little longer than I want it to but the programs can be demanding.I like the brushed metal finish too.I haven’t used the webcam at all.Overall I do like this laptop. It gets the jobs I want done and that’s all one can ask for.It has been worth what I paid for itUpdate 5/11/2020:This laptop is built like a tank. I’ve dropped it several times, albeit on the carpet, and it had been literally thrown across the room 3 other times. The battery pack fell out and the disc drive door too, after being flung. Yet it still works perfectly fine. No damage at all.The only problems I’ve had has been having to replace the battery.
