Amazing ultra-short throw projector - its expensive but relatively cheap compared to others and both the picture quality and sound are very good. I have monitor audio speakers and a Sony amp but haven't bothered to connect these up because the sound system in the projector is good enough. The built in Android works well but doesn't work for Netflix - however you can purchase a TV stick made by Xgimi that allows you to get Netflix and Xgimi refunded the cost of that (around £50). The remote is metal / very good quality and easy to use. Set up of google tv very simple as is connecting dvd players and other devises. The projector has a good array of hdmi, usb and other connection points. In terms of looks - its big (and heavy) but looks great on a tv cabinet. The most complicated aspect of set up is getting the alignment to the wall / screen. You have to do this physically - so I would recommend a measuring tape to ensure its the right distance from the wall for the screen size you want and that each end is the same distance from the wall. I have mine set for a 110" screen size. The picture quality is amazing - especially when watching blue ray. I project straight onto a wall which is flat and an off white cream colour but nevertheless the quality is as good as what you would see on a tv. The projector can play 3d movies (you will need a compatible dvd player and glasses. I use the Xgimi 3d glasses which are average price and 100% compatible. 3d setup is easy and the experience is amazing. Overall, I can't fault this projector for what I want - basically an alternative to a standard tv that effectively does what a TV does - just bigger.

Good quality short throw projector with very decent sound quality, at first I wanted to buy extra sound system however it works quite great , I’ve bought a 120” screen and I’m happy with my purchase round £1600 (on sale) couple of months back ,picture’s great and I can’t find any significant complaints, wasn’t using many apps except vlc to play video from usb stick (works great) , using ps5 for everything else like Netflix, Amazon Video, gaming etc. Everything works as it should. Not so great when you’re trying to watch with lots of light in the room however I suppose it’s the same with all projectors. Rather good value for money. Would recommend.

Brightness is quite dim Bad software doesn’t work on the lot of websites. Old technology inside manual screen set up. Big size needs a dongle to run Netflix. 4K stopped working only works in 1020pNot worth £2000.

What a beautiful designed projector easy to set up took less than 5 minutes to setup with all your current playstore apps including games done in a flash once you have set up your Google account. The picture quality is as good as your highest large screen tv plenty of inputs at the back of the unit so you can wire in your games consoles and bluray players sky boxes ,free view,freesat all in glorious 4k my only criticism is it is quite a big protector and quiet heavy , but other than that great value for the money arrived well packaged and un damaged .

I had a fairly small budget for a projector but pushed the boat out and over spent on the XGIMI aura, I can tell you I’m not in anyway disappointed. Even standard definition is great. One advantage we have is we have a fairly dark room with blackout curtains so we haven’t put in an ALR screen just a regular white 150 inch screen as seen in the image. Not really changed any of the settings but have bought a 4K fire stick. We do have an external receiver for sound but in all honesty I was really impressed with the built in speakers. In the right conditions this is as good as having a 150 inch 4K q led TV. One other thing that’s really impressive is the remote, solid build and so intuitive to use. Love this projector

UPDATE 26/09 - After a very long wait, no contact and me having to phone amazon, I finally have my refund......BUT.... it's not the full amount, out of £1,719 they have only returned £1,661.04. Not impressed and i do have an email from them confirming both the projector and streaming device were there in the return centre. Now I have to call back to get the full amount. Safe to say i will not be purchasing the other projector from Amazon. Getting a refund has taken 4 weeks and still not correct. Therefore I have knocked off a star per issue that i have had to fix, instead of Amazon. I do not recommend Amazon regarding expensive items, keep it under £100. My frustration and stress levels are at an all time high and it's really not worth it.*returned item* There was nothing wrong with this projector, just after a long day of researching projectors, I forgot to check the dimensions and it was unsuitable for my needs. I would say its the size of an old bulky VCR (A3 paper size roughly) and very heavy. It is very stylish though highly suitable for a modern home, but you would require a sturdy unit to sit this on. It is not suitable for a ceiling mount in my opinion, unless you have very strong ceilings.It came very well packaged, quick delivery and it was easy to return. I sent it back last Saturday, so the refund should be due soon. Which is great timing as XGIMI have just released the first long throw 4k laser projector, which is what I've been wanting for the last 4yrs!!! So as soon as I get my refund I will be purchasing XGIMI Horizon Ultra. Same size as my current viewsonic x10 (A4 size, 4kg) but a wee bit heavier by 1 or 2kg. As soon as I get it I will give a review.

Over the moon with this product, from picture size to brightness and sharpeness this is outstanding.Only downside i would say is the size and trying to find a tv cabinet that allows for the projected screen to be a decent distance away from the ceiling was difficult but ikea is your please.If your in the market for a projector this is the one.Enjoy

Have had the projector for a while now and am very pleased with its design and performance. It is quite a large unit but as it is located close to, and beneath the projector, it does not take up any wanted space
