Great door for narrow alcove showers!
After an incredible amount of research, I decided to buy this shower door for my small master bathroom remodel. I have an alcove shower with a narrow opening that would not allow virtually any other shower door to work. When my home was first built, the contractors screwed up the walls and accidentally made the shower about an inch narrower than it should have been, meaning most standard 36-inch shower doors would not fit. Pay close attention to the minimum width requirements as noted in the product instructions and Q&A. If your opening is too narrow, this will not fit. My opening was almost exactly 34" wide, finished tile to finished tile. After installation, I ended up with about 1/4" clear between the edge of glass and the tile. It does make me nervous, because if the door was to come off the wall at all, it could hit the tile and shatter...but after 6 months, there have been no issues.Water leakage...there is almost none. This was a bit concern of mine. You would think there would be a lot, but somehow there isn't. Every now and then a few drips end up on the floor, but they are easily dried by a floor mat/towel.I wish the door had a coating on it to prevent water stains. I installed a different Dreamline door in another bathroom, and it definitely looks cleaner than this one, after 6 months of use. That said, I have no complaints. The price was right, installation was easy, and frankly it was the only door that worked for my bathroom!!

Perfect shower door for my application.
I needed a shower door that didn't take a lot of space in my shower and this door worked just as expected. The glass is clear and I wanted frosted so I bought some frosted film and applied prior to assembly.Additional information: the description and short video does not show a couple of things: there's a clear rubber seal that is applied to the bottom and the side of the glass. I guess you can choose not to install. Also, while the video shows the door opening in both directions there's a threshold seal also that may interfere with the door opening to the outside. This is not shown anywhere on the promo material and item description. So far I have chosen not to install the threshold. The amount of water that splashes outside is minimal.Overall, very pleased so far.

VERY NICE LOOKING
We purchased this bi-fold shower door because we thought it would be much more modern and convenient for our newly renovated bathroom which is a very small space. We have a 60" walk-in shower and this looks like the half shower doors have been trending for the last several years so I love the look. We wanted the large porcelain "Carrara" shower tiles to be visible instead of using a curtain. I like that the door folds in half and out of the way because it makes it easier for cleaning the shower floor and tiles. Hopefully, water will not be an issue with the exposed other side of the shower. Installation was not bad at all. Because of the thick porcelain tiles, we had to get a special bit that makes large 1/2 inch holes so we could use toggle bolts. I wanted a very secure installation for the heavy doors and we didn't have studs in that area where the screws were going into. So I asked my hubby to use the toggle, maybe it's overkill but I know they won't fall out. Worked out fine and the rest was easy. Beautiful doors.

The 33.5 fit perfectly in my 33.75 - 34 inch shower.
I was very nervous that a 33.5 door would not fit in my small shower space that varied in measurement from 33.75-34 inches. My contractor attached the fixed side to the side away from the shower head, so that the water would definitely not come out on the floor, and the 1/2-1/4" open space was nearest the shower head, so that it is basically a fully enclosed shower . The bottom seal does not let any water out on the floor. It is attractive and just what I needed in my small downstairs bathroom. The only problem I see is a "groaning" and stiffness in the folding mechanism, which I hope will stop eventually. I have addressed this question with the manufacturer to make sure it was installed properly.
