Very effective tool, worth every penny.
These pliers create nice radiused bends but may mar the finish on coated tubing. Prepare to buy multiple lengths of tubing as there is a steep learning curve to doing this work. Be patient, and if you plan on doing custom lines be prepared to buy multiple lengths of tubing if you want it car show perfect. DO NOT under any circumstance use the universal flaring tools with the multiple size clamp if you plan on cutting to length, especially on stainless pipe, they're garbage irregardless.

Lisle is one of my favorite tool companies. Generally reliable tools. Thank you.

Great for close quarters
Lilse always does a good job. I changed master cylinder mounting location on a motorcycle enough that brake line needed re-routed on that end only. I was able to get it done without removing brakeline from bike.

Works great for bending a tight radius but….
Let me start off saying I use a lot of lisle tools and I’m a fan. These plier style tubing benders for brake lines work good BUT if you’re using them in an area that needs to look good you will need to do some work on them. Mine didn’t line up right and would leave a mark every place you used them. After some time with a dremel, a fine file and some polishing stones they work pretty decent now. That being said if you just need them to bend brake lines and make a tight radius they are great as long as you don’t care about marks in the line.

Great in tight spaces.
Tubing bender works just fine. Very handy making adjustments to the tubing runs on my car. I replaced three out of four lines and these became very useful in tweaking the lines (especially in confined areas) to make everything line up how I wanted. Just takes a little practice and patience at first to get the feel of making the bends so they looked and functioned great. After that they were easy to use and became one of my most used tools in replacing brake line. They are well made and a great solid pliers for making slow or sharp bends.

A must-have if you work with lines
These line shaping pliers are excellent. They allow you make sharper line bends without distortion or crimping. They are well designed and made. I borrowed a pair to do a line on a car. Using it to shape one line is all it took to make me add this tool to my tool box. They make it in 1/4 inch also. Will add that one next. Well worth the investment if you work with brake or fuel lines often, even the cu/ni lines are much easier to shape with these devices. You just think using your hands is easier until you use these.

A well-made tool that works perfectly!
I don't bend brake tubing very often, so I've always been 'satisfied' with a dinky little multi-purpose bender. The tubing would always get stuck in it, and it was generally a pain in the neck, but I hardly ever used it so whatever.I spoiled myself and bought this for a project where I really wanted to do a nice-looking job. This is a professional tool made for a single purpose, and it works PERFECTLY. I quickly made a bunch of new brake lines with nice tight 'factory' looking bends. It was easy to make accurate bends, and the tubing never kinked up or got stuck in the tool. I wish I would have bought this tool ten years ago, even if I only would have used it once a year!
