Generally, Shick razor blades last significantly longer than those of competitors. They perform well as long as there is lubricant in the cartridge and give me a comfortable shave. At home, I use a wet shave with a good quality shaving cream. A cartridge will last me at least 2 weeks or longer depending on the lubricating qualities of my shaving cream.

These are the only blades that last and they really stay sharp for many shaves blows Gillette out of the water

I bought these last year just for the good price of the refills, then I gifted the razor. It is the best bang for your buck and the best razor I’ve ever used. I’ve been using the same handle for 10 years!

I've been using the Schick Hydro 5 blades for years and recently looked for a less expensive shave in the BIC Flex 5. That was a brutal mistake. After two BIC blades I went back to the Schick and experienced such relief. I purposely went with the Schick Newly Improved Hydro Premium 5 packaging after reading review concerns about less than optimal performance, and possible counterfeits, with some of the other packaging. These blades are top notch. No irritation and no nicks. I'm wearing a happy face this morning.

I've been shaving with Schick when only ONE blade was used! That was a Loong time ago but I was satisfied with the results. I've been using it since it progressed to 2 blades, then 3, then 4, untill it reached 5 blades! Could 6 be on the horizon? I recently ignored the proverb, if it ain't bkoken, don't fix it, and tried “Harry”…it was a big mistake! It also has 5 blades but there must be something in regards to how Schick sharpens its blades because after shaving with a new blade, against the grain and receiving many knicks, I have visible stubble after 2 days whereas when using a Schick blade I would get at least 3 or 4 days before a visible stubble. Needless to say, I'm going to continue being a Schick user for the remainder of my liffe. I turned 89 on March 7 and don't know how long l have left but I'm a Schick user for life! Thank you for producing such a fine ptoduct! I also love the new Flip concept to get to those hard to get spots!
