Metal Battery Post and Terminal Cleaner

I've used a few different brushes and tools to clean my battery posts, and most of the time, I could get them relatively clean, but there was always a little haze of corrosion left in the end.This post cleaner fit perfectly over the battery posts, and took off every last bit of corrosive material. The brush works as well as any other, so it cleaned the clamp part okay, but not any better than any other brush I've used. Spray on some terminal protectant spray after you've cleaned the parts, and you'll have a corrosion-free connection for many months!

This tool made it easy to clean hard corrosion off of the inside surface of the battery cables and off of the battery terminals on my car, which fixed the starting problems the car was having. However, a few bristles on the battery cable cleaner bent permanently after just one use, so this tool probably will not last for many uses. Not a bad tool if you don't need to use it often.

The top doesn't fit on the wire brush holder, doesn't hurt the performance of the product, but it should fit.

Simple and at a good price. Just needed it to take off some corrosion that built up on my car's battery. Did the job. Plus it saved me about $30 that the dealership wanted to charge me to do the same job. DIY and save!!!!

Must have for keeping auto battery terminals clean and rust free. Keep one in your glove box as you never know when you need to clean the battery terminals.

It's cheap. It won't last long if you leave it out in a tool box that gets moisture on it because I think this will corrode and lose the brushes quite easily, so it needs to be inside and taken care of (well, you ought to take care of all of your tools, but I don't always). I used this on my tractor battery and quite often that's where it gets left, out in the tractor cab where it can get damp.It does do the job quite well, though. It's a step up from taking out your jack knife and doing a scrape number on the terminals, and if you don't have a lot of machinery around, like just your car, it would be handy to just throw in the glove compartment.

For something so cheap it works well enough. It fits right on my battery terminals very tightly and will clear off any corrosion. Use gloves with this (So you don't cut your fingers or get acid on your fingers).

This is a must have item. I keep in in my trunk with my jumper cables. I've been stuck with a car that wouldn't start just because the terminal was so corroded. This tool makes it easy to clean it and get back on the road. I've used this more than one and it still looks new.
