Assembly was very not that even though they didn't have labels on the parts. Pretty much I looked at the diagram separated the parts and then started the journey and I had it assemble without assistance in approximately 50 minutes and that using a 17mm socket with a Dewalt Power Impact drill and rubber mallet and a crescent wrench and that's it. Make sure you don't tighten the screws until the very last step and then go and tighten all the screws as your very last step. I found the exercise tower quite sturdy for my weight (235 lbs). It is smaller than I expected (which is a good thing) and I expected the chin up bar to be higher (another good thing since I was looking for something that would give the bar clearance from the ceiling). I find this suitable for my apartment. Shipping was through Fedex and the package arrived with little to no damage. The instructions were somewhat better than what I am used to (exploding diagrams with some written words on the othe side of the pages) with this type of equipment and I would suggest when building it to not tighten the bolts completely until you are completely finished. If a mistake is made it is easier to correct while the bolts are still loose. I put it together in several hours so this was not all that complicated. I used a sprocket wrench, with two different bits, a mallet (which was not all that necessary but helped knock the caps into place), and an adjustable wrench. A good buy.

I've been on this unit for three times a week since I purchased it and enjoy the quality the same now as day 1. It took roughly an hour to assemble with my 4 year-old "helper." The instructions aren't the best but if you can't figure out what pieces go where, you should probably supplement body work with brain exercises. Only maintenance has been tightening screws and dealing with the grip pads on the pull up bar, which are essentially useless. I'd recommend not bothering to install them as they slide around, the glue isn't strong enough. Otherwise, the quality is very good, not much wiggle or movement when in use. It looks like this VKR will be in my home gym for many years to come.

I ordered this on a Monday and it was delivered on Friday, even though it wasn't promised until the following Wednesday. Putting it together took about 2 hours and wasn't a big deal as long as you know your way around a ratchet. All the pieces fit nice and snug and it has a very sturdy feel too it.Using it is a pleasure. I weigh 185 and doing bar dips, chins or knee raises do not cause any instability on the frame. No shaking or moving. This is very different from the ones I looked at in stores which were about half the price, but I worried if it was going to collapse under me.This is a great addition to any home gym.

The 1st product arrived as a pile of metal, rubber and bolts. When I assembled all the scratched up pieces the angles were all off (I have photos to prove it) It may have been designed in USA, but it looks like the Chinese can't calibrate their machines correctly.The manufacturer was very nice but what a pain to assemble, ask guidance, disassemble, re-assemble (to make sure), disassemble, pack, ship, receive, assemble, complain.

Delivery delayed two times. Arrived in another box. Original product box damaged. Product inside damaged. Hassle begins.
