Tara Toys Clay Cracking Sweet Surprise, Multicolor

This is such a fun, crazy toy for my daughter! You get to make fun "foods" and paint them to look real'ish. Then once they dry they become another toy opportunity because then you get to break what you made and there's a goopy cool sensational substance inside to play with!

When I opened the box, all of my packages of clay had burst, so I lost a good chunk of it. The stuff I had left to salvage was super gooey. I tried to put it in the molds but it was so moist that it just came out in clumps and got stuck to the molds, so I scrapped them. I just rolled the clay into balls and shapes and put glitter in the middle. I waited how long it told me to before painting. The paint is cheap and low-quality, but I'm not putting these in an art show, so whatever. Just trying to crack for fun. But wow when I got to the "glaze" part after letting the paint dry...First of all, the glaze immediately becomes a sticky, unmanageable mess after one application, and if you don't cover the shape with enough of it, it won't even begin to "crack." I ended up putting on latex gloves and pouring the foul-smelling mixture (how many carcinogens did I inhale using this? It smelled awful! I had to crack a window! 😂) all over the shapes and just trying my best to rub it all over. The gloves were a sticky mess too, but at least I "glazed" as much as I could and used all the mixture to thoroughly cover the shapes the best I could. I waited a full 24 hours hoping to finally experience that satisfying ASMR crack I see in all the Tiktok videos. Only about 3 of my shapes actually "cracked" at all. The rest just had a rubbery texture that pulled apart with no crack or pop. The clay was still so sticky inside that the glitter bombs I put inside just stuck to the gooey "clay" and was completely unsatisfying. All that work and waiting for 3 shapes to barely emit a tiny little "pop" and the rest went completely to waste. DO NOT BUY THIS if you are hoping for the ASMR effect. If you want a messy, cheap toy for your kids to get all over the house and their hands and hair and for the house to smell like a chemical spill, this product is for you! Enjoy!

After making the pieces which was time consuming and frustrating at times since it’s hard to remove from the mold, the “cracking” part left much to be desired.

My kiddos enjoyed making these let the. Dry overnight then crack them was a big hit

I receive that order it is a birthday gift but I’m sure that she will like it thank you for delivering it on time

The instructions were not great for this product I would have not allowed the the product to sit for any amount of time because all that did was dry it out so that it wasn't moist and Squishy in your hand at all so basically once you get the product out just go ahead and paint it and glaze it you don't have to wait because waiting seems to dry it right out and it's no fun, also it's way too sticky to put into the molds and be able to get it out with that form I would say if you really want it to be that form you're going to have to let it dry a little and then get it out and paint it and glaze it, also there's not quite enough glaze included. Also I did crack the product and the glaze was sharp. Not for kids
