Perfect Replacement for GM Gauge Cluster Bulbs
These are the perfect replacement for the soldered on light bulbs in GM Gauge clusters (specifically Silverado/Sierra and Suburban/Yukon in my application). These probably fit others, just verify the size of the bulb in your cluster. These are 4.7mm in diameter which is identical to the original bulb, just a little longer in length which isnt a problem. Other bulbs are 5mm which doesnt fit in the original blue holders. See the pictures I uploaded as a comparison. The leads are almost the perfect length as well (last pictures shows the length as they come installed. I just snipped a tad off from there and then soldered them on). Good as new.

Good quality, well supported filament
These lamps come in a box with packages of ten instead of one big tangled mess in a bag. That makes it easy to give a bag to each of your car friends. These look to be good quality and are suitable for the harsh automotive environment. There are two filament supports for support against vibration that a vehicle will see. I also work in electronics and small lamps are found in older equipment and not just for illumination. The cold resistance is 13.4 ohms and calculated resistance of 133 ohms hot at 12V and 90ma. In electronics, small lamps like these are used in oscillator circuits to produce stable output. The 10 to 1 hot to cold ratio makes these lamps well suited to electrical circuits. Following are currents for other voltages 5V 54ma. 8V 71ma, 10V 81ma, 12V 90ma and 14V 98ma. Second picture is a microscope view and third shows the lamp illuminated with 1.7V to show filamentconstruction.

Wire leads too short
These bulbs would have worked but the wire leads were too short.

I more like the fact that these shows in the picture that they had longer stems. Because some of them have problems reaching properly all the way around the socket. If you're worried about stem length you may want to look elsewhere.
