Worked beautifully on challenger
TLDR: worked for my 18’ challengerHere’s my long journey of having RGB headlight rings.I purchased the Vland RGB headlights to add some flare to my challenger.Once I got the headlights, I realized I’d would obviously need aftermarket HID bulbs. So I essentially had to drive around during the day because I didn’t have headlight bulbs.Once they finally came, I installed them and it was going good for awhile.About 2 weeks ago, my headlight bulbs started to flicker off and on and sometimes stop working mid drive(extremely dangerous while on the highway). So I did some research and bought this relay so the power would come directly from the battery. Now it works beautifully and just like any other DIYer, it feels like a breath of fresh air after fixing a problem. I will throw in a tip for other challenger owners….I cut a small piece off the positive end so it could fit around the bolt(left side of engine bay when looking from the front). Good luck and drive safe mopar owners.

Easy replacement for and existing system, needed to re=pin one connector
I have a 9007 HID setup already but the Hi-Low relay had crapped out. Bought this kit to replace it as it looked identical. The relay is pinned different so if you're looking to swap just the relay think again. Installed the whole harness and realized the high and low beams were working in reversed operation. Swapped the two pins on the connector that takes the factory headlamp connector and it was correct then. Not sure if I got a fluke harness or if they are all like that but if you have that issue swap the blue and red wires on the blue 9007 female connector and you'll be good.

Maybe buy two?
Amateur tip, the wiring is fine but these relays are cheap and can be finicky. If you’re headlights start acting up after a while it’s nice to have an extra one on hand for a quick replacement.

ORDER 2 SETS
i haven't figured out how my last module shorted out but but i was without headlights for a few days til my new harness was delivered. i ordered an extra for next time i have a problem and also 2 extra ballasts. you have to be prepared if you're going to rig up a headlight upgrade on your crap early 200's truck

No improvement for headlight operation. Very disappointed.
I liked the product and the installation was pretty straightforward, however mine arrive without instructions. However, the intermittent xenon headlight bulb upgrade remains a mystery. Sometimes they work, often times they do not. Our car is a 2012 Cadillac SRX and the extreme vission xenon bulb with a 35 watt ballast was a definite improvement when they worked but very problematic. At least in my case. The day time running light feature on this car lowers the voltage to the low beam bulbs so they would often flicker or not turn on at all. The wiring harness (purchased separately) was not required in the original purchase. I was certainly ok with buying the harness and doing the install which again requires removal of the bulbs and related vehicle components to allow access but even with manually switching the headlights on from the normal "auto" position, even in full darkness the bulbs were not reliable. This week, I drove it home with only the parking lights working. Not a desirable or safe thing to do.I have now purchased low beam premium "night vision bulbs and will be installing them this week.I was really hopeful the ballastered xenon upgrade would have worked but they did not.

Works great! Power/ground could be a little longer though
I bought this because after converting my charger from factory halogens to factory HID. I was getting flickering. No programming was available to get the computer to recognize a hid system installed so had to use these and they work great. My only complaints are both the power and ground cables could stand to be another 6 inches longer. Very easy to install.I also suggest you double check your cars electrical system first though with a volt meter. My car the positive and negative were opposite of the relay kit. At that point you can either plug the cables in backwards or if you know how you can pop the pins out of the relay harness connectors and reverse them so the cable locks match up again.
