GORGEOUS!!
I was hesitant to buy this because of the price and the off-white thin paper, but I have heard so many amazing reviews about it that I took the plunge. Worth. Every. Penny. This thing is gorgeous. I love the paper!! Although it's thin, it's so smooth and I don't get a lot of bleeding, even when I use watercolor or markers for my bullet journaling! I'm very impressed! I will stick with Leuchtturm from now on!

High Quality, Comfortable Size, Preprinted Index and Dotted Pages Really Helpful
I really like the look, feel and overall size. I now carry this everywhere, and it drops into my bag easily. I added the elastic pen holder to the last page and it works perfectly holding a medium to small barrel pen or pencil. It's been very durable so far. (I'm 133 pages in.) The pen holder is not removable/transferable to my next book, but the convenience and low cost makes it so I'm ok with buying one for each journal as I need it. (PS: The 1971 numbers seen on the cover in the Ad are not actually printed on the journal cover. It's just a marketing wrap that is removed before use. The cover is clean and blank. See photo) The reviews were definitely correct. A top choice.

Classic for a reason
Many sizes, many colors, all on high quality opaque paper and a solid binding. I have tried a dozen journals: Moleskin, Focus, and more. This is the one for me. The two book markers are surprisingly helpful - one for the monthly calendar I write and another for today's activities. The back pocket holds loose pages I need. The spine and cover labels fit well and don't smear, the table of contents and the pre-numbered pages make finding things a breeze.

So beautiful!
The most beautiful notebook I own! I might get more! The paper quality is amazing, but it's the cover that really 'shines' ;)

Good, but different
I really like this. It's beautiful and sturdy and has the nice table of contents and everything you'd expect of a Leuchtturm 1917. However, I've had two previously, and this one seems a bit different. The fonts don't seem as nice or elegant if that makes sense and the table of contents isn't set off by some blank pages like it is in my others. The pages are also a bit lighter, but it's the same size and has the same number of dots per page as my others. I don't know if Leuchtturm just changed their design on me or if this is a dupe, but it'll certainly get the job done, so I'm overall pleased with it.

One of my favorite notebooks
I love the coloring on this notebook. The cover is sturdy and it is perfect for bullet journaling and brainstorming. The thickness of the paper means pens won’t bleed through. I would definitely buy again!

I LOVE THIS!!!
The pages are so nice, very smooth. I contemplated buying a $25 Journal, but it’s worth it. There’s just ghosting, which I don’t mind (just as long as it doesn’t bleed). I think I’m going to actually finish this bujo just because it’s so pretty and I can’t get enough of it.

Interior Printing Issues - Not Like Other Leuchtturm 1917s
I've had three other Leuchtturm 1917 dotted journals (and loved them), so I was surprised that this one wasn't exactly the same. It cost more than the others because of the premium shiny gold finish (which is wearing off a little, but no more than my other journals) - but the interior feels lower quality than the others I've had with plain solid colored covers.First, almost everything about the printing is different: the "please return to" page, the index / menu pages, the page number font size are all different from my other three journals. It's not terrible, but it was surprising. I did a side-by-side comparison and it's definitely very different. The worst part, though, is that the dots in this journal are way off. They start too close to the edges of the page, which changes the number of dots / grids on each page and just looks sloppy. Also, that means that the perforated pages toward the back are off, so that if you tear them out, it cuts off the first dot (and half a square). I've gotten over the page printing differences, but it just looks cheap and misaligned. I honestly don't know if this is an older (or newer?) style, a misprint, or a knock-off brand, but the interior printing is 100% different from all my other Leuchtturm 1917 journals. (The page thickness and paper quality feels about the same, though, as do the cover, bookmarks, and back pocket.)It does come with the official branded labels and the Leuchtturm 1917 is printed on the inside, but it feels like this is a generic or misprinted interior with a premium cover. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a bad run being sold as "premium" - but I don't have another metallic 1917 to compare it to, so I don't know.
