Love it - be warned it comes in s mode.
I got this as a replacement for my hp notebook that was on its last legs. I love this. Compact, streamline, looks beautifully modern and runs nice and smoothly. First thing I did was remove some of the bloat-ware off the system including the xbox app and Microsoft teams as I would never use these. Also reset what programs would be run at start up and I found this made it much speedier overall. I use this solely for my writing work, so I only really use word and libreoffice which run on this no issue what so ever.I also can confirm the browser is nice and speedy when it comes to the internet. This is me using edge without any additional plugins and so far not had an issue getting into my emails or logging into social media. Battery life is excellent, runs 10 h easy on one charge. Sound quality is okay. Works fine for watching videos. Good keyboard with clicky buttons and nice to type on.Couple of pointers worth mentioning. It came in 'S mode' which was not mentioned on the product page. This means you will not be able to install programs that are not available on the Microsoft store. This can be altered, you just need to go to the microsoft store and download the app to fix this. Be warned you cannot go back to s mode if you do, but I imagine the majority of users won't be bothered by that.Second, you do have to have a microsoft account to use this device. This isn't the device's fault, this is a win 11's thing. Worth mentioning anyway.Ram memory is not big. Also a very small hdd capacity. I haven't tried any video games (the hdd is 64gb and about half of that is just the os), but I very much doubt this would run most games very well. Maybe small capacity stuff, 2d games perhaps, but not something with heavy graphics. All in all, you get what you pay for and for the cost it is a lovely thing. If you want something chunky with a big harddrive and big ram, this is not it. As a lightweight, easy to use, portable device, it's perfect. Very happy with this product overall.

budjet laptop for everday use
I recently purchased the HP Stream Laptop with Intel Celeron, and it has exceeded my expectations. The laptop is lightweight and portable, making it perfect for on-the-go use. The Intel Celeron processor handles everyday tasks like web browsing, email, and document editing with ease. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 14 hours on a single charge, which is ideal for long work or study sessions. The build quality is solid, and the keyboard is comfortable to type on. Additionally, the inclusion of Microsoft 365 Personal for one year is a fantastic bonus. Overall, this laptop offers excellent value for its price and is perfect for students and professionals alike.

Looks great
This is a value product from HP compact and good looking. Its compact and light and is well made. Its not for high end software or fast enough for serious gaming but as a compact internet machine with good wifi its fine.

Casual user? Emails...news, etc? Don't buy.
The device is very slow. It can barely run Windows 11. Comes with a lot of bloatware that uses up what little memory there is and due to the slow performance it'll take hours to get it all removed. Browsing the web is unresponsive and it runs out of memory while playing back any video. Windows 11 apps like Mail take a long time to open and go unresponsive if left idle. It's a cheap device but can't even manage casual use. Don't waste your time and money here.

Overall W
It is so wonderful for a laptop. It is definitely value for money and it has a good performance. The speed is a bit slow compared to other laptops bit it's all good. It is a bit slow when it comes to responsiveness but the connectivity is wonderful.
