I rarely write reviews but this item exceeded my expectations. I bought these very affordable glass gemstones for a children’s treasure hunt. The idea was that they would find the gemstones and trade them in for prizes. The problem was no one wanted to trade in the gemstones!These are excellent quality K9 glass gemstones. K9 glass has a higher refractive index (ie. more “sparkly”) than regular glass but not as high as lead crystal (but less brittle and far less expensive). This set includes 8 fully colored K9 glass gemstones (red, burnt orange, yellow, green, blue, light purple, pink, and clear). These are not color coated but solid color throughout.Initially one of the gemstones I received was defective and had a noticeable air bubble. I contacted the seller and they promptly responded and replaced the defective item. I am very happy with the customer service.Finally, it is important to note that these are precision cut glass gemstones. The points on the pavilions are sharp and, as is the case for all glass items, they can chip or get scratched. But as I mentioned above, I used these in a kids treasure hunt and there were no issues besides the kids not giving them back.

Longwin has done it again: these eight colorful "diamonds" are flawless. They each measure 50mm (1.97") in diameter and are manufactured with true colored glass meaning color through and through, not cheap painted on color which I absolutely hate. And at $24.99 for the set of eight this comes to about $3.13 per piece. That in itself is pretty incredible.I admit, I am a sucker for crystals and suncatchers and rainbows throughout my kitchen, my front porch, and my car. I had to laugh when I saw a German review on a different crystal describing him or herself as an Elster, which is aEuropean black and white medium sized bird that is known to come into houses through open windows and steal anything shiny such as silverware and even house and car keys, then lines its nest high up in a tree with its treasures. Since I hail from Germany I guess I am also an Elster since I also love shiny and glittery things.There are similar items available which are smaller and more, but I read reviews that mentioned chips and scratches. While these may be isolated issues, when they happen the recipient is not happy. I have not had any such isues with Longwin.If you're like me, you can't go wrong with this gorgeous set. Very highly recommended.

I bought the 55mm (2") to use as wine bottle toppers. They look pretty, and reflect the light. They obviously don't "seal" a bottle but for entertaining purposes they set an elegant tone. I get a lot of compliments on them. They are are perfect accompaniment when gifting someone with a bottle of wine.The colors a brilliant, not cloudy. The 55mm gems have a nice heft to them.

I make yard art out of glass, bird bath's flowers etc, so I need a glass that is not coated with color but is the same color all through. These are them, they shine as bright and colorful years after use. I mistakenly bought glass diamonds that were only coated with color and they faded after 1 year of use to the point where you would swear they were never colored. Thank you for making such a quality product for the price.

These stones quality, price, stunning, and beauty are just unbelievable!I bought 2 sets, gave out 6 of them grand kids. I have 10 of them for decoration in my wooden bowl.

These are pretty and came packed and protected very well. They are a bit bigger than the HDCrystals but it didnt take my breath away like the other diamond crystals. Perhaps it was because of the way they were presented in the box. These were upside down in the protective foam so when you open the box they didn't "grab" you like the other vendor's crystals. You only get 8 but again, they are bigger.

These are very well-made glass diamonds they are very beautiful and actually kind of sharp wouldn’t want to get hit by one LOL they are beautiful and they made great accents for a rainbow themed anything They are most definitely gift double anyone who receive these would be in love

Though the box was much smaller than I'd anticipated, and came wrapped in a lot of plastic, the reveal was completely worth it! The jewels were SO BEAUTIFUL!!! All six jewels are roughly the size of a hacky-sack ball, (perhaps), and they are made of a tough glass material. But, don't take just my word for it... hold one of these little beauties up to the light and watch the prismatic color spectacle bounce off of the walls as you sit MESMERIZED! If it weren't for the slightly sharp points on the end of each jewel, it would make THE PERFECT GIFT for your "Little Princess".
